Continue to travel through a spectacular scenery Road to one of the most beautiful and Natural lake submerged in the Andes Mountains. (Inca Lagoon) Arriving at the oldest and First Ski resort in South america. our costumers will have a free time to Have lunch at Portillos Restaurant & spend free time admiring the view of the lagoon in the Andes Rage On our way back to the hotel stop to photograph this famous winding road.

- In winter season there is no access to the shore of the lagoon due to preventive closure by the Portillo hotel, due to the quantity of snow
- Between the months of June and October on Saturdays it is not possible to have lunch at the Hotel Portillo, the lunch stop is made in another restaurant

The most beautiful day! - The entire day was spectacular!! The wine tasting and the lunch time views of the lagoon made for a wonderful experience. Hector was very thorough with his explanations and I appreciated him speaking Spanish at a slower pace. The wines at the tasting were delicious, the views of the lagoon are breathtaking, and the interaction with llamas just rounded off the experience perfectly. Thank you Hector and Angelo for the most wonderful day!!

Excellent day at the Inca Lagoon plus wine tasting and llamas - Benjamin and Antonio (driver) did a fantastic job providing us with a full and exciting day trip from Santiago. We travelled in style in a comfortable (air conditioned) minivan, well-informed by Benjamin about Chilean history, culture along the way. We arrived at our first major stop for a wine tasting and walk around a llama-farm. The Chilean wines were excellent, along with snacks to sustain us. The next phase involved driving higher into the Andes, through switchbacks, and arriving at Inca Lagoon (Portillo ski resort), where we stayed for 2 hours. Plenty of time to view the sights (snow, mountains, ski lifts) and to have lunch in full view of the beautiful Inca Lagoon. After a full day we were driven back to our hotels. Benjamin (and Antonio) were great company and made us feel like visiting friends. Definitely worth a trip!

Imperdible Tour - Alvaro was our Guide, was excellent. During the whole tour he was explaining and telling about the history of Chile. The stops were sensational, one place more beautiful than the other. The whole tour was super organized, no running. Our driver was also attentive. I recommend!!

Nice trip out of the city - Note, if you do this excursion on Sunday the winery is closed,so if that is a highlight for you,chose another day. Everyone was picked up at their residence/hotel which was nice! Our guide Benjamin spoke great English and was a joy, provided great information along the way. Angelo was our driver and I felt safe. The trip up to the Lagoon was broken up by stops for snacks/bathroom and then a picnic where we had the wine tasting outside and were able to interact with llamas and take nice pictures . Beautiful area and fantastic restaurant at the Lagoon. I really recommend this trip. Benjamin and Angelo were awesome.

Great day trip to the Andes - Fabulous day with guide Benjamin and driver Angelo. Lots of information and fun.

Awesome views and experience - Review the weather so you can bring the right clothing, it's better when you wear layers so you can adapt to the temperature
Consider that there are a lot of curves on the way, in case you need to take something to avoid nausea

You have to live this experience! 100% recommended - What an amazing experience was the Tour to the Inca Lagoon in Portillo in the Andes Mountains and the tasting in the San Esteban vineyard from Santiago that I booked through Tripadvisor! From the beginning, Driver Angelo and Guide Hector were fabulous. Angelo, always punctual and friendly, took us safely along the mountain routes, while Hector gave us detailed and interesting explanations about the history and geography of the region. You can tell that they both enjoy what they do and their positive energy gets infected.
The Laguna del Inca is simply spectacular, surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Andes where I saw the snow and in the hotel portillo you eat very rich, and the stop in the San Esteban vineyard with a wine tasting that allowed us to enjoy the local flavors, and we closed with flames.
The itinerary was excellent, fulfilling everything promised: we were able to explore the natural wonders of the Cordillera without hurry and enjoyed every moment. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a complete, fun and well organized experience. It exceeded all my expectations!

Wonderful day tour! - This was a perfect full day excursion that offered such a variety of activities - wine tasting, visiting with llamas, dining by the breathtaking Inca Lagoon. Our guides, Hector and Angelo were so nice and had such great information. My husband and I learned a lot - Including some Spanish. I would highly recommend when visiting Santiago! 😁
