Janae's "South LA" Tour is the "Absolute Best"!!!!! - My family of four just completed this amazing tour! There are many different tours that might offer the opportunity for you to experience the vast geography and rich history of the Region. However, the "South LA" Tour provides an amazing concentrated view specifically focusing on the the significant contributions of African Americans. From the historical figures as far ranging as Paul Williams, Mayor Tom Bradley, and Nipsey Hussell, Janae's story telling is top notch! She weaves in historical facts and personal stories seamlessly. I highly recommend this tour to people of all ages! Truly Amazing!

The Black South LA Tour was awesome! - Our tour guide was personable and warm from the moment we met her. She is knowledgeable and her desire to tell the story of Black South LA is apparent. I did a similar tour years ago and on this tour with Janae, I heard information that was new to me. My 19 year old daughter also enjoyed the tour. How do I know? She told me and because I didn't see her on her phone except for when we took a restroom break. Keep manifesting and telling our stories!!

An amazing journey through black history and culte in LA - My recent tour with A Great Day in South LA / Black History Tour to South LA Crenshaw was absolutely unforgettable! Everything was flawlessly organized, from the comfortable transportation and impeccable accommodations to the well-planned itinerary and insightful commentary provided by our guide, Janae. Janae was an exceptional guide! Her knowledge of the area was vast, and she shared it with enthusiasm and humor. She was also very accommodating and attentive to the group's needs. The tour included various exciting and engaging activities, from exploring historical sites, enjoying delicious local cuisine, and experiencing the vibrant culture. I especially appreciated the personal touch that Janae added to the experience. She went out of her way to make sure that everyone had a wonderful time and even surprised us with a few special treats along the way. If you are looking for a unique and memorable experience in LA, this is the tour for you!

Best Historical Tour I Have Ever Experienced! - I am so happy to write this review. This was one of the best tours I have ever been on, and I have traveled all over the world. The wealth of knowledge that Janae, the owner and operator of the tour, has is unmatched. Her understanding of historical facts and the various areas around Los Angeles that pertain to black excellence is unmatched at the college level. I learned so much in a short period. I recommend everyone take this trip. I have lived in Los Angeles for over twenty-two years and was not aware of the rich history of black, Latin, and Asian people. It was a wonderful history lesson, and to see the houses and organizations of notable black, brown, and Asian people was incredible. The price for such a unique and dedicated tour is a steal. I recommend and will bring all my friends and family who visit Los Angeles on this tour. She goes through various historical areas throughout Los Angeles. Not only do you get to see the rich entrepreneur community, but you also get to see civic leaders, athletes, actors and actresses, architects, historical churches where Martin Luther King visited, etc—highly recommended. You also get a goodie back with info about the top places visited. I am waiting for Janae to write a book about all the topics discussed on the tour. I know it will be a best seller!
