Best Historical Tour I Have Ever Experienced! - I am so happy to write this review. This was one of the best tours I have ever been on, and I have traveled all over the world. The wealth of knowledge that Janae, the owner and operator of the tour, has is unmatched. Her understanding of historical facts and the various areas around Los Angeles that pertain to black excellence is unmatched at the college level. I learned so much in a short period. I recommend everyone take this trip. I have lived in Los Angeles for over twenty-two years and was not aware of the rich history of black, Latin, and Asian people. It was a wonderful history lesson, and to see the houses and organizations of notable black, brown, and Asian people was incredible. The price for such a unique and dedicated tour is a steal. I recommend and will bring all my friends and family who visit Los Angeles on this tour. She goes through various historical areas throughout Los Angeles. Not only do you get to see the rich entrepreneur community, but you also get to see civic leaders, athletes, actors and actresses, architects, historical churches where Martin Luther King visited, etc—highly recommended. You also get a goodie back with info about the top places visited. I am waiting for Janae to write a book about all the topics discussed on the tour. I know it will be a best seller!

A Great Day indeed! - This was a great tour. Very educational and informative. As an L.A. native, I learned so much. Really enjoyed the residential highlights and the stop at the historical 27th Street Bakery. The tour guide was superb.

Insightful Tour on the Rich - not often told - History of South LA - What an amazing tour this is, led by a passionate historian with a deep love for South LA. Janae - our tour leader - was exceptionally charismatic, and I must say, hilarious! She made sure we had the utmost possible knowledge about South LA both past, present, and emerging. Also, for any questions we had during the tour that she was unable to answer, she promptly followed up with the answer. If you are thinking about taking this tour...do it!

Black History Tour - This was not only a great tour but an important one! There’s so much Black history in LA that has been lost in translation. It was great to see and learn about all the Black artists, civil right leaders, and icons that laid the foundation of LA. The tour guide Janae is a true historian. This is a must if you’re visiting LA or inquisitive about Black history!
