Highlights
  • Dolby Theatre - The Dolby Theatre, previously known as the Kodak Theatre, is a live-performance venue located within the Hollywood and Highland Center shopping mall and entertainment complex at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Since its inauguration on November 9, 2001, it has hosted the annual Academy Awards ceremony. It is situated next to the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and the El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. Many popular movies premiere here, and it is often used for cast and crew screenings.
  • Rodeo Drive - Rodeo Drive is a two-mile-long street, mainly in Beverly Hills, California, with its southern end in Los Angeles. It starts at Beverwil Drive in the south and ends at Sunset Boulevard in the north. The name is often used to refer to the three-block section between Wilshire Boulevard and Little Santa Monica Boulevard, known for its high-end retail stores.
  • Hollywood & Highland - The Hollywood & Highland Center is a shopping and entertainment complex located at Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The 387,000-square-foot center includes the TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and Mann’s Chinese Theatre) and the Dolby Theatre, home of the Academy Awards. The site was once the location of the famous Hollywood Hotel. Situated along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it is a major tourist attraction in Los Angeles.

The complex is across Hollywood Boulevard from the El Capitan Theatre and offers views of the Hollywood Hills and Hollywood Sign to the north, the Santa Monica Mountains to the west, and downtown Los Angeles to the east. Its centerpiece is a large three-story courtyard inspired by the Babylon scene from D.W. Griffith’s film Intolerance, featuring full-scale replicas of the archway and two pillars with elephant sculptures. This gives visitors a sense of the original set’s size.

  • Hollywood Walk of Fame - The Hollywood Walk of Fame features over 2,600 terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. These stars honor achievements in the entertainment industry, including musicians, actors, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, and fictional characters. Managed by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and maintained by the self-financing Hollywood Historic Trust, it is a popular tourist destination, attracting around 10 million visitors in 2003. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce holds the trademark rights to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
  • TCL Chinese Theatres - The TCL Chinese Theatre, located on the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California, is a renowned movie palace. Originally named Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, it was renamed Mann’s Chinese Theatre in 1973 before reverting to its original name. On January 11, 2013, TCL Corporation, a Chinese electronics company, acquired the naming rights, making it officially known as TCL Chinese Theatre.

In 2013, the theatre partnered with IMAX Corporation to transform it into a custom-designed IMAX theater. The renovated theater seats 932 people and boasts one of the largest movie screens in North America.

  • Sunset Strip - The Sunset Strip is a 1.5-mile stretch of Sunset Boulevard that runs through West Hollywood, California. It extends from Crescent Heights Boulevard at the eastern border with Los Angeles to Sierra Drive at the western border with Beverly Hills. The Sunset Strip is famous for its boutiques, restaurants, rock clubs, nightclubs, and large, colorful billboards.

West Hollywood, often called WeHo, is a city in Los Angeles County, California. Incorporated in 1984, it is home to the Sunset Strip. According to the 2010 U.S. Census, its population was 34,399. It is known as one of the most prominent gay villages in the United States.

  • Hollywood Sign - The Hollywood Sign, originally the Hollywoodland Sign, is an iconic American landmark overlooking Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. Located on Mount Lee in the Hollywood Hills of the Santa Monica Mountains, the sign spells out “HOLLYWOOD” in 45-foot-tall white capital letters and stretches 352 feet long. Initially created in 1923 as an advertisement for a local real estate development, the sign gained recognition and was left up. It has been a target of pranks and vandalism over the years but has undergone restoration, including the addition of a security system to prevent vandalism. The Hollywood Sign Trust, a nonprofit organization, protects and promotes the sign, while its site and surrounding land are part of Griffith Park.

The sign frequently appears in popular culture, especially in establishing shots for films and TV shows set in or around Hollywood. Similar signs with different words are often seen as parodies. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce holds the trademark rights to the Hollywood Sign.

  • Universal Studios Hollywood - Experience movie magic and major attractions at Universal Studios, where you can step into Hollywood’s world of make-believe. Every ticket includes hotel pickup and return.

Hollywood Homes Tour - I was visiting LA for my birthday and showed up with only plans to attend a Dodgers game. I looked for things to do and decided to add this to my itinerary. Yodi was a wonderful guide. I had so much fun on our tour! We had a great group and he was very informative and fun! Highly recommend! Keep in mind, these are celebrity homes so please don’t think you’re gonna roll up to their front door. We saw a lot in two hours though!

Excellent Hollywood tour! - Ross was the best tour guide! As locals who always have wanted to try one of these Hollywood tours, we were not disappointed. Ross was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a fun and thorough tour of various celebrity houses and other worthwhile tourist attractions in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Bel Air. At the end, Ross recommended that we check out the Boardner in Hollywood for some drinks. We took his advice and had a great happy hour there. Thanks, Ross!

Celebrity Homes Tour - I took this tour 14 years ago. I brought my mother because I wanted her to experience a trip to Hollywood. She was afraid looking of the Hollywood Hills and excited at the same time. She had a great time. I was just tired of hearing the retired host constantly talk and the intercom was extremely loud which gave me a headache.

Fun day, see everything you want - My teen daughter (18) and I are in town for a few days and decided to do this on our first day. We spent the morning enjoying Universal Studios. The rides were great, the lines not terribly long. All in all it was perfect. There was a little misunderstanding about our pickup afterwards, but a call to Starline Bus Tours, the operator, solved the problem. Only issue was the woman on the phone helping us did not have a good grasp of English, making it difficult to get our problem explained. Our guide for the movie star homes and famous sites was great! He knew all the history, played music (not to loudly) that totally set the mood. In one day we saw almost all the sites on our must see list. This was perfect since it was easy for us to narrow down places we want to go back to and spend more time.

Bus ride was too long! - It was fine until we got on the bus to go home and we literally drove over an hour and a half and our hotel was around the corner. We kept asking the bus driver where we were going next and he ignored us. We finally got off the bus at the 4th hotel we stopped at and caught an Uber. It was not a fun tour!!

poor oranized - There was a big queue coming from hotel pick up tour waitung for their documents to the main tour, as the was only ONE employee working; the life audio in the main tour bus didn't work properly; Universal tour is a complete separate tour, so it made much more sense, to board the metro nearby, which is a 7 min $1.75 - next stop tour instead of waiting one more hour for the official bus shuttle.
