Journey through the cosmos and history as your guide delves into topics ranging from science and Los Angeles history to cinematic wonders. The observatory also offers stunning panoramic views of LA, including the iconic Hollywood Sign.
Following your tour, experience a show in the renowned planetarium theater. This 40-minute immersive presentation features live narration and extraordinary projections. The shows are suitable for ages 5 and up.

If you ask Observatory staff about the tour they won’t be able to help. You MUST check in with your guide at the Astronomer’s Monument.
- To see a planetarium show, you can buy tickets in person. Your guide will show you how. They’re $10 for adults and $6 for kids ages 5-12 (under 5 not allowed in the theater).
