These stars serve as permanent public tributes to accomplishments in the entertainment industry, showcasing the names of a diverse group of musicians, actors, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and more. Managed by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and maintained by the self-financing Hollywood Historic Trust, the Walk of Fame is a major tourist attraction, drawing an estimated 10 million visitors in 2003. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce holds the trademark rights to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
• Griffith Park - The Griffith Observatory, located in Los Angeles, California, is situated on the south-facing slope of Mount Hollywood within Griffith Park.
