Loved this hike and all the great stories - I loved this tour! We aren’t normally into touristy things but this was GREAT! Excellent guide (Paul! Norwood!) who had great stories. We took the hike through Griffith park into the Los Feliz neighborhood. Our teens even enjoyed it (lol)! It was hot- bring water/ hat/ sunscreen/ actual hiking shoes would help on the incline too.

Great experience. Get in shape before taking this hike! - I enjoyed this 2.5 hour hike through Griffith Park and the neighborhood of Los Feliz with our guide Paul. He was a great guide and offered lots of interesting facts and stories about the park and surrounding areas. There are just a few things that hikers should be aware of. This is a strenuous hike, especially in very warm sunny weather. Wear a hat and bring snacks and water. Also, the title of Hollywood Sign in this tour is a little misleading. You don't go anywhere near the sign, and unless you have a camera with a super long-distance lens, you can't get a good photo. But it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless.

Hike through Griffith Park and Los Feliz to the Observatory - My sister and I really enjoyed our ExperienceFirst walking tour to the Griffith Observatory with Paul. The hike up through Griffith Park offered several panoramic views of the Los Angeles skyline and the Hollywood sign and we were able to take lots of great photos. Half way up, Paul took us onto a quiet Los Feliz residential street, where we strolled past several lovely homes and gardens, including Frank Lloyd Wright's Ennis house. Paul was a fabulous guide and his engaging and informative tour was a great start to our LA vacation. We would highly recommend it!

LOVED OUR Hollywood Sign/Griffith Park Hike with Paul - We recently went on the Hollywood Sign/ Griffith Park Hike through Experience First. Our fantastic guide, Paul, led us around Griffith Park, through the quaint hillside neighborhood of Los Feliz to Griffith Observatory! Throughout the tour we enjoyed stunning views of Los Angeles, the Hollywood Sign and the local flora and fauna, as well as Paul’s vast treasury of local knowledge and stories of the area and its residents. His enthusiasm and affinity for Griffith Park and Los Feliz (really all of Los Angeles) were evident and helped to make this tour an absolutely wonderful part of our vacation itinerary! We highly recommend Experience First Tours, as well as any tour with Paul as a guide!

Exceeded our Expectations! - We opted for the morning tour to hike to the Griffith Observatory and see the Hollywood sign, not knowing what awaited us. To our delight, our guide, Paul Norwood, was incredibly engaging and knowledgeable. He started us off with a visit to the Greek Theatre, where he kept us entertained and informed. As we trekked to the Griffith Observatory, Paul stopped at beautiful spots for photos and views of the LA skyline. Our group of 4 adults, 1 teenager, and 2 children never once felt bored thanks to Paul's storytelling and energy. We were surprised with a tour of the exclusive Los Feliz neighborhood, complete with fascinating facts about the architecture and residents. Meeting coyotes along the way only added to our excitement. The Griffith Observatory and Hollywood sign exceeded our expectations, making the 2.5 hours well worth it. We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to start their LA adventure with a mix of beauty and history. Thank you, Paul, for an unforgettable experience that went above and beyond.
