Ollie gets 10/10 - Ollie was great, really fun, friendly and informative. We unfortunately arrived after sunset as an event at the Greek and LA traffic caused the trip to take longer than expected. We would recommend still, the views are fabulous. Regardless of how warm it is in the day, you will need a jumper come nightfall.

Best way to see world famous icon! - Amazing chance to see the iconic Hollywood sign at its most impressive - just before sunset. Our guide Ollie was superb - so knowledgeable about the park, its history and its most famous resident, and also full of lots of ingesting information about the sights we saw on the way. Comfortable tour bus with great panoramic views. If visiting LA, this is one to do!

Trip to the observatory review - Rodney did an excellent job driving us, without any complications and kept us entertained while we were being driven. Additionally, the actual time at the observatory was a blast and I got to see the moon through a telescope.

Good sunset and city views on this tour! - Oli was very kind as a driver, he was also interesting and funny. And he was an excellent driver. I would recommend going on any day probably except the weekend because it was really bad traffic (Sat) to get up to the observatory. Especially because there was a concert going on at the Greek Theater.

No better view of LA than from the observatory. - What a view from the observatory. Los Angeles spread out before you with the sun setting was a beautiful experience for all of the family. Rodney, our tour bus driver was very friendly, informative and entertaining and kept up amused as we made our way to the top.

Very Good Guide: Rodney. Tour could have left rather around 7pm than around 6.30pm to watch the sunset. Tower could - Rodney was a good Guide, provided nice explanations, put at ease the participants of the tour and gave good information.

New tour, needs some improvements but nice - Positives: 1) The open air bus is very comfortable and it's limited to a small group, there are USB outlets so you can charge your phone while riding 2) The tour guide was very friendly 3) You are delivered right to the door and picked up in the same spot 4) Views are beautiful, but it's chilly up in the mountains so wear a jacket Negatives: 1) It's a "Sunset" tour, but it started 15 minutes before sunset so it was dark by the time we got to the observatory and we couldn't see the Hollywood sign that's highlighted--start times should be adjusted each month 2) There is no layout of the Observatory provided and you only have 30 minutes so the time inside cannot be optimized--I was interested in the outdoor telescope and only discovered it with 5 minutes left when there was a long line so didn't get to use it 3) There are no restrooms at the office like other tour offices which are important before embarking on a long ride (60 minutes)
