Day well spent in LA area - We’re looking for something to do the day before our cruise. Book the 8 hour tour of LA and it did not disappoint. You get to see a lot in a short amount of time.

Got to see a lot of the city with a native tour guide - Just know that if you get picked up at your hotel the first hour will be spent picking up guests at the cruise terminal. They pack the vans full, every seat filled so don’t sit in the back. You get to see some cool places. Driver,Gabriel, was very knowledgeable and nice. When you book you need to tell them if you have a lot of luggage or a scooter/wheelchair. The vans don”t have very much room for luggage. We got to see a lot of the city that we probably wouldn’t have done on our own. It was a long day.

Check who will be your guide...it could make a huge difference in your experience!! - First...I slept before deciding what I wanted to say on this review. After rereading the past reviews we UNFORTUNATELY got the driver that has the worst ratings for this tour. He spoke in way that made us feel uncomfortable. Asking if any of us brought drugs, cocaine, did we want to buy any fentany, how about smackl! He also, made a point of showing us where stars had made porn movies! He kept saying that the smartest people don't live in the USA but live in other countries where the dollar is stronger. He would point at random people and say there is the next billionaire, or there is the next movie star. He mocked different people groups. He talked of government conspiracies and pretty much made the experience almost intolerable. You do get to get out of the vehicle at the LA Memorial Coliseum for a bathroom break. He gave us the option of going to the Griffith Observatory or try to see Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jay Leno who were honoring Chris Wallace who was getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The bus group voted to see the celebrities. He took us to where the ceremony was being held. He drove around the block twice for us to hopefully see some Hollywood stars. We basically saw the back of all three of their heads. I gave him an "A" for effort. Next stop was in Hollywood, we were allowed 45 minutes to see the stars footprints, handprints and signatures at the TCL Theater (Grauman's Chinese Theater to us old folks), and make a quick trip to the only place from the Hollywood Walk of Fame to see the Hollywood sign. When he was asked for him to repeat where we needed to go, he very rudely said that he should not have to repeat himself!! I could count on both hands several political and degrading statements up to that point that he repeatedly told us, and continued to tell us, during the tour. I lost count of how many times he told us he was a Boomer!!!! We did see the Hollywood Sign...it is four miles away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. (P.S. the Hollywood Sign is best seen from the Griffith Observatory!!) We chose unwisely. We also had a few minute to buy a few souvenirs at LALA Land. Next stop was to eat at Mel's Diner...it is NOT the one that was used in the movie American Graffiti. Be prepared for an $18 basic hamburger!!! We flew by Santa Monica Pier which I have always wanted to see. I did get a decent picture of the sign we drove by. (Other reviews spoke about stopping at Santa Monica Pier.) Oh well...massive disappointment!! Next stop was at Venice Beach, where our driver jokingly said we could buy our marijuana and other illegal drugs...like I said just VERY inappropriate!!! I would never go to that beach again if I was paid to go there. You could get high just walking past the shops to get to the beach!! The beach itself was beautiful and well kept. The public bathrooms were less to be desired. This is hands down the most disappointed I have been on a city tour.

Tour Canceled With no Notification - The trip was canceled by Sunseeker the day before we were scheduled to do the tour, no communication was received about the cancelation, found out the morning of, when we were waiting for pickup and they didn't show, so I called. I also have not received a notice of cancelation /refund. Very disappointed, since we were looking forward to the tour. The lack of communication is unacceptable.
