Amazing time! - Our experience started on a high note at Guest Services, thanks to Mustapha Sabih, who left a lasting impression. He made our first visit and my husband's birthday truly unforgettable. We had an amazing time and were thoroughly impressed by the efficiency of the staffs, the well-managed queues, and the incredible rides.

Universal Studios Hollywood offers an unforgettable experience - Universal Studios Hollywood offers a fantastic adventures for all ages. For thrill-seekers, Jurassic World - The Ride is a must, with its heart-racing final drop. The Transformers and The Mummy rides provide the adrenaline rush that any theme park enthusiast will appreciate, while The Walking Dead Attraction is filled with eerie tension. At one point inside, we tripped and fell, only to have a ghostly figure step out of the shadows and offer a hand to help us up—an unexpected blend of fear and humor that made the experience unforgettable. But for me the highlight of this experience is the Studio Tour, where you get a peek at real film sets and iconic props. You’ll experience famous scenes, such as from Jaws or Fast & Furious, and get to see where movies are filmed. Dining options are abundant, with themed eateries like drink Butterbeer at Hog’s Head in the Harry Potter world, and eat Luigi’s Pizza or Krusty Burger in the Simpsons area was a delicious treat. While a bit pricey, the food aligns with the immersive experiences of each themed area. The park also offers plenty of souvenir shops, from Hogwarts robes to Jurassic Park T-shirts. So, Universal Studios Hollywood is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a mix of movie magic, thrilling rides, and family-friendly attractions. It’s well worth a full day’s visit, and with proper planning, you can experience the very best the park has to offer.

Highly recommended - We weren’t going to go to Universal on our trip but decided at the last minute to go. Less than $400 for 2 adults and 2 kids to visit the park for 2 days seemed like a bargain we couldn’t miss. On the first day we had early entry and made the most of Super Nintendo World, by the end of the day only the Waterworld show and The Secret Life of Pets were not ticked off our list, but we had been on other rides multiple times. The second day was a bit busier but we ticked off the 2 attractions we had missed and managed to find our way onto every ride and had photons with quite a few characters. A great day was had by all and would highly recommend anyone visiting.

Better book another amusement park! - Although we were looking forward to going to this park, our experience was far below expectations. The waiting time for each ride was at least 45 minutes, and some rides were excessively short in duration (I waited almost an hour to ride 5 seconds). The only plus was the air conditioning system with water sprinklers at the queue line and the Studio Tour. For the Mario ride we didn't even dare to wait, there being the estimated time of 2 hours. I regret that we chose this park instead of going to Warner Bros or instead of taking an extra day at Disney.

Stay away, disaster - Do NOT go to universal studios especially with kids stay away I will start by saying as a kid i had annual passes I loved going and while King Kong was scary the rest was fun. Employees were nice and there were nice shows and attractions So now that our kids are a bit older we decided to buy annual passes, since we live so close. We should have bought a 1 day pass 1st. The place is GROSS the employees are rude too! There are 0 family friendly shows Water world is a very violent and gruesome show that has given my kids nightmares. At least one character is murdered during the show and it feels super real. Others are punched and socked and it is scary. Worst of all they don’t stop you from bringing your kids to this show or even warn you. They took away blues brothers and the aninal show they had from years ago The rides are NOT designed for families. Other theme parks accommodate for 2 kids per adult sitting together but not universal! Which leads to your child sitting with a stranger who is potentially unsafe. They are not willing to accommodate a request for the seat next to your child being empty. The Harry Potter wand show: This left my kid SOBBING. Before entering I asked if it’s a live show and was told yes. it was a 30 minute wait. Oncewe got in they took us to a dark room with about 20 people. There was a man in a wizard costume that picked my kid. The “show” Was him handing her wands and her “testing” them. At the end he asked her to call forward her family. She was told how lucky she was to be selected and given a 5 minute speech on how lucky she was (her siblings were told they might get lucky next time) and all the cool things the wand can do while the employees held the wand. It appeared she won it. But at the end tbey said it costs $60!!!!! Since we weren’t buying it my kid was devastated , she thought she won it. (It was not worth it for us, she is not even a Harry Potter fan!) Also, they don’t accommodate disabilities. Now for the famous studio tour ride. Since I have sensitive kids I asked the employees at the entrance to the ride if it’s scary and what parts are more intense so I can prepare my kids. They said NOTHINg on it is scary. So I said hey I remember King Kong being kind of scary. They answered no they changed it and it’s different now and it’s not scary. This was very very far from true. They changed it and made it 20 times scarier. It’s a 3d experience with dinosaurs and King Kong and honestly even I was scared. My kids were panicking. And the tour is 60 min it’s very long for kids. The place is also dirty. The bathrooms are overcrowded and while I saw attendants in them they were gross and dirty. It also feels very scammy. Everything costs extra from a band to play in their Nintendo world to the wand. One example is the employees standing around can’t answer questions about which way things are because they’re there to sell credit cards! My husband even bought a refillable soda cup for I think $20 and when he went to refill it about 1.5 hours later he was told 2.5 more hours have to pass before his refill!!! All in all I would say don’t go here. It’s a waste of money. Even for teens/adults overpriced for the very few rides and attractions they offer. There are much nicer and cleaner things to do in LA.
