Worth the splurge! - This is definitely the way to do Universal! Our tour was fantastic, and the included breakfast and lunch (especially the lunch!) we're wonderful. We didn't wait in any lines, got to ride everything multiple times. Our favorites (besides the tour) were the Mummy, Mario Kart, Jurassic Park, and the Waterworld show.

Treated like a celeb and the best way to do universal - Absolutely worth every penny! Our tour guide Sara was brilliant and made sure we were well looked after. We were escorted to the front of each ride line and the film lot tour was really interesting too. The lunch provided had the best variety of food available and the staff do everything to make sure you are comfortable. You will feel like royalty !

Ask for Patrick!! - We splurged on VIP passes to celebrate my friend’s 40th birthday, and we had a blast!! Patrick was our VIP tour guide, and he was amazing. Knowledgeable, lots of energy, and very helpful. I expected the studio tour to be my least favorite thing, but it was fascinating. I enjoyed getting to see behind the scenes, and the photo ops were really neat. We go to Universal Orlando a lot, and some of the rides were similar. However, it was cool to get to experience them with the express passes. We did the VIP lunch at Moulin Rouge, and it was as fantastic. It was the best buffet style food I’ve ever had — the tuna was particularly amazing. We LOVED the Nintendo area. It was like being surrounded by childhood. We got the bands so we could experience the activities, and it was definitely worth it. The Water World show was something different, and it was as pretty funny. Orlando definitely has the better rides if you like coasters, but this was an amazing experience, and I would definitely do it again.

Excellent and cost effective - The only way to go to Universal Studios Hollywood is getting the VIP pass. Never had to wait in a line for any attraction. It included lunch and dinner buffet which had everything. Ride a tram to see the behind the studio buildings. Highly recommend it to everyone

Worth it! - I had a hard time accepting the cost of the VIP experience but I am so glad that I did it! It truly is the only way to see the entire park and ride all of the rides in one day. Christina S from Burbank was our guide and she was absolutely wonderful. There were 12 in our group but by the end of the day most had gone off on their own leaving just 5 of us which was even nicer. We got to do whatever we wanted and walked right up to every ride. I didn’t want to ride the Mummy ride so Christina went as the buddy to my daughter which worked out great. When you exit a ride you end up in the gift shop for that ride but being with the group we never stopped to shop and that actually worked out perfect for us! We could’ve went back after the tour to do our own shopping but luckily we’re past that phase. Food allergy friends: email the park directly about a week before you visit and ask for a list of safe foods for your specific allergies. I did this and a lady named Heather helped me. This service is a must and so appreciated!

VIP is the way to go. - We had a wonderful day. Mark, our guide was top notch and knew so many stories about cinema history, shows, fun facts etc… my 11 year old had a blast. And we still had time to explore the park on our own after the tour where we got to do all the main rides barely waiting in line. Definitely the way to go. It’s expensive but completely worth it if you can afford it.

Great experience! - Universal studios is really an awesome place especially if you have the vip pass, cause it really saves a lot of time. It is well suited for kids as well as teens and as adults. Of course it is very expensive and a bit of a steal but daddy did pay 🤪.

Excellent but with one big let down - This was a great experience with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide - Patrick. We were a group of eight and two other couples joined our tour. I would suggest the guide bring SPF lotion or that it be offered at the start of the tour as I had to apply to everyone when it got very sunny. One couple in particular were getting quite burnt. The studio tour was everyone's favorite part of the tour. Patrick's historical back stories even captivated our young kids. Lunch was out of this world. A huge selection to please everyone. The one big let down though was huge and really affected our experience. We made the trip specifically to ride Bowser's Challenge and the ride broke down just as we got to the front and never opened back up for the rest of the day. This was even more devastating as it also broke down the previous day when we were non VIP. While this was outside of Patrick's control I do think Universal should have offered some compensation for their main attraction being down for the two days we were there.

OVERRATED - Horrible: In this review I am going to tell you 5 reasons why this place is bad☹️. 1: this place is super small and barely has any rides. 2:the food here is awful 😞. 3: one time I got the VIP pass the tour sans NOT that good but one thing that is not that bad is the vip bus tour. On the bus tour we got to see where the filmed the movies and we got to go inside where they filmed the movies . 4: things are kinda expensive there . The food, merchandise, and the tickets are expensive. 5: lastly, it’s pretty.busy in this theme park . Overall, I’ll give it about a 1.5/10
