Isra arrived promptly to... - Isra arrived promptly to pick me up at my lodging. There was only one other guest so it was pretty much a private tour! On the car ride he explained alot about Quito, the jungle, and what to expect. He was very patient at each stop so I got to truly enjoy each experience (bird and butterfly watching, chocolate and coffee making). We even had time to try local fruits and eat empanada verde. This experience felt more friendly than a transaction so I really appreciated that. Isra only does small group tours so you get a more personalized experience.

Unforgettable Experience with Israel - If I could give him 10 stars, I would. From the moment Israel arrived, the experience was fantastic. He is caring, intelligent, and incredibly knowledgeable. I wanted to include more hiking and physically active activities in our planned trip, and Israel made immediate adjustments. Thanks to his flexibility, I had one of the most enjoyable days I can remember. His personal attention to ensure I was happy was simply incredible. I cannot recommend him highly enough—he’s the best!

Mindo and Isra Peña - thanks for a great experience! - The weather was phenomenal which was the beginning of a memorable tour. Seeing how chocolate and coffee are made was everything I expected and more and the tastings were “ummm ummm good.” Isra Pena is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking passed the river and the hummingbirds. The scenery was beautiful and I’m still beaming from the chocolate facial which was a great way to end the tour. The atmosphere throughout the entire day was spectacular. All respect for Isra who does a great job; a true sample of excellent tour guide! Many thanks again and I recommend Isra Peña to everyone!

Cloud Forest Traveller - What an incredible day thanks to Isra and his personal approach to creating unique travel experiences! Standing in the forest surrounded by so many species of hummingbirds and tanagers…remarkable! The coffee and chocolate experience including chocolate face mask was so well done. Israel is the best! Take his Mindo tour! - The Mindo trip has been my top experience in Ecuador! Feeling the wind from the tiny fast wings of the hummingbirds as they fed from your hand is very special. But my guide Israel is what made the trip truly memorable. I had a blast talking to him about all different topics. He knew all the local people and was so accommodating and helpful. Easy to talk to and very intelligent. Lunch was excellent and so was the coffee and chocolate education stop.

Nature, coffee, and chocolate - The stop at the bird sanctuary was amazing. I have never seen so many hummingbirds in one place and so many different varieties. The coffee and chocolate tours were also really good. The guides took us step by step through the process and then we had a tasting at the end of each that was so very good. Our guide Israel was very well informed and clearly loved this part of Ecuador. I highly recommend this day trip.

Great day trip! - My wife and I had a great day on this tour. Hummingbirds, coffee and chocolate making. Met some great people. Our guide Isra was awesome to spend the day with. Knowledgeable, interesting and a great communicator. Would recommend.

Budget experience, nice people - Based on price I should’ve expected a budget experience. Vehicles were cramped for my party of 6 and no AC. Shout out to Alex for being so nice. My party got separated because instructions weren’t clear on what options we had at Mindo. 4 of us were herded into coffee and cacao presentation and told to pay $20 and missed out on zip line, butterfly, chairlift or any other option
