Awesome Boating Experience in Cabo!! - We had an amazing time with Coco & Ernesto!! They let you take control of your time and choose how you would like to spend it. The rock formation tour was awesome, they pointed out a lot of cool architecture we otherwise would’ve missed. We cruised the pacific side of Baja and saw multiple whales, which was unbelievable!! Coco knew right where to take us to find them, and did a fabulous job following them once we did. The boat was clean and easy to find with the waypoints provided.
The food & drinks were delicious! Overall the guys did a fantastic job and made the experience one we will never forget! Would absolutely recommend them and definitely request Coco & Ernesto if you want a memorable & fun time!!

Rough Waters, Calm Response - This review is long, long overdue (Aug/Sept 2023 option not available.) We booked a private tour for four people to see the bay of Cabo including El Arco de Cabo San Lucas and Pelican Rock. The day started out fine but the sky became progressively cloudy and the water choppy about 45 minutes into the tour. Unfortunately, the boat was recalled to port and the tour cancelled. Social Distance Charters was very cooperative and promptly, fully refunded our money. That's grade A customer service in our book and the reason why the next time we're in Cabo, we will definitely book with them again.

Great sights and food - Ended up in the middle of pods of gray and humpack whales. Awesome sight. The ceviche and guacamole were 🔥. Lalo and crew were great.

Private 4 hour snorkeling tour on the Sea Breeze - It was a wonderful private experience! We probably would not have booked this private tour except at this time of year Cabo Trek commits all of it's bigger boats to whale watching, so there are no snorkeling groups that go out. They suggested this boat as an alternative and I'm so glad we did it!
We went out on a 4 hour snorkeling cruise at 8AM. I think our guides name was Elio and our captain was Lalu? (not sure of spellings. I should have written this earlier because now I'm forgetting their names. Sorry, guys!) We let the captain know about our experience the day before when my husband got very motion sick and asked him to do everything he could to give us a gentle ride. Of course, that has a lot to do with ocean conditions, but I believe he did go slower and took very gentle turns. He did a great job ensuring our ride was very smooth.
The water temp was around 70F, which is a little on the chilly side, so we were outfitted with 5mm full wetsuits before we left the shop. They also had shorty wetsuits, but I was glad for the long ones when I got in the water.
We went out to Santa Maria bay. I highly recommend the early tour to get there before a lot of boats show up. Several did arrive, but we were out there first, so we were the only ones snorkeling at the time we did it. As others got in the water, we were already done. It's not a very big snorkeling area, but it was pretty clear. I think the more spectacular snorkeling would be in Cabo Pulmo, but we didn't have enough time to go way out there on this trip. I saw large schools of sergeant majors and yellow tail surgeonfish that are not at all afraid of humans. I saw guineafowl pufferfish, pincushion sea urchins, damsel fish (juvenile and adult), parrotfish, wrasse, and many others I can't think of right now.
Our guide was on a paddleboard with us so he could keep an eye on us and we could ask questions if we wanted. I was glad for his presence, but he wasn't a marine biologist sharing info about the sealife. He threw some crushed up tortilla chips in the water so that fish would come up to us to feed. I'm not sure how ethical or healthy that is for the fish, but it was pretty to see them up close and he didn't do it a lot.
Since I was already wet, I gave the paddle board a try, which was a first for me. They also had a big floating mat he put out, but we didn't use it. We prefered the cushions on the front of the boat instead. They are a little worn and have some rips in them, but they are very comfortable!
An unexpected treat was that on the way out and back we saw many whales. We stopped in front of a lighthouse where a mom/baby pair was just resting. The captain cut the engines and we just floated as they came near to us. The baby was rolling around in the water and lifted its pectoral fins out of the water. We also saw two grey whales. We saw more whales closer up on this trip than we did on our whale watching trip the day before. It was nice to have the 4 hour private tour so we could spend more time looking at what we wanted to see.
One nice touch is that there are bluetooth speakers on the boat, so I was invited to link to it with my phone to play music that we liked. There was a box with complimentary packaged cookies and chips and a cooler with water and soda for us.
Warning: there is only a tiny ladder on the back of the boat that doesn't have handles above the deck to pull yourself up. Both my husband and I had trouble with it and had to have help getting back aboard.

Best in Cabo! - Lalo and our first mate were awesome. We were able to see whales and hunker down in a great spot to eat just before sunset. The sunset was amazing and the memories are worth more than anything we paid to go! They have definitely earned repeat customers!

Not a bad experience just fine - It was fine, not what I hoped for almost $1,000 for 3 hours. We enjoyed the Crew - they were very friendly and fun absolutely no issues with them. Saw whales which was a bonus. Everything was just very average - boat, towels, snorkeling gear, food - just ok. We really wanted to snorkel in less congested area like Chileno Bay and mentioned it several times but crew said it wasn’t good? Anyway it wasn’t a bad experience just not very special or memorable.
