Great guide and food - Truly some of the best food I’ve had in my life! And great stories too. Flexible options for those of us who don’t eat pork as well

THE BACK STREETS OF CABO - ROBIN met us promptly at 5:30. She explained to us that there is two sides of Cabo. The tourist side and the local side. Talk about a great back of the house food tour with the local Robin explained every restaurant we went to starting with the ceviche restaurant with fresh seafood out of this world margaritas, and a great setting, the restaurant has been there for over 30 years. While we walk some back streets she explained the history some of the restaurants and markets on the backside of Cabo. Or next stop was another family owned business that served moms is mole served over chicken with rice and beans again another wonderful dish that would be hard to forget. What’s a food tour without tacos? Next stop a regulars hangout people coming and going she explained the different tacos and the history of the meat that they carved to order placed on this wonderful handmade tortillas, served with just a right amount of salsa. If you want more, you can go to the salsa bar and load it up. Then we started to walk off all the food that we have eaten, although we were on the local side of town, we felt very safe walking the backstreets. Then it was tamale time. Homemade tamales served out a hot barrel right off the street. Like it should be.By this time. I was too full to eat anymore so I them home and had it for breakfast. Cactus and cheese tamale with just right amount of heat and the strawberry dessert one is the perfect thing to eat for breakfast. Last at least was the wonderful churros, stuffed with your choice of sauce that was fresh made right in front of your eyes. ROBIN did a great job explaining the history of Cabo, and the geographical areas of Cabo. As for me, I’m a retired chef and I got to say the food was wonderful and the experience was amazing. Great job.Robin…

Do it early in your trip - Great tour and the perfect way to kick off your trip. Robin provides a lot of context and insight to the food and the culture. We enjoyed all the restaurants- even went back to one later in the week - and it was nice roaming around in a small group, chatting with strangers. I was with my hubby but think it would be good for a solo traveler, too.

Yes, you should do this! - This had great reviews, but it was a fantastic experience! The food quality, variety, and history along the way were top notch. I highly recommend doing this tour....even if it's a splurge in your budget. It's worth it! We will be back.

Great tour over spring break. Didn't show up last night. - We did this tour on spring break and LOVED it. Left an amazing review after. Loved it so much that we gave it to our kids for a wedding shower present. Booked and got confirmation. My kids are on their honeymoon and went last night. No one showed up. They aren't staying close so had to Uber down, waited almost an hour, called and left messages, and finally went on their own to one of the restaurants we remembered. ****NOTE: we did get a refund for the tickets. However, I am so disappointed that they went through all the effort and were so excited to do this on their honeymoon. These dates should not have been available if they are on vacation or out of town.
