- V4H2+6J Cabo San Lucas - The waters surrounding Los Cabos are where three marine currents converge, resulting in a unique and diverse marine ecosystem. Jacques Cousteau and other researchers have referred to the Sea of Cortez as the “World’s Richest Sea.” It is home to over 800 species of fish and countless invertebrates. This area is perfect for observing giant manta rays, whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, and dolphins.
Visitors can explore various diving sites: Land’s End is the meeting point of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean, ideal for spotting fish, barracudas, and manta rays. Nearby, a sea lion colony and a shipwreck provide amazing marine experiences. The Middle Wall features sharks, groupers, and giant bass, while the North Wall is home to octopuses, crabs, sea urchins, and seahorses. Pelican Rock, just 20 minutes from the Marina, is suitable for all divers, offering sightings of manta rays, goatfish, trumpet fish, turtles, and playful sea lions.
Dives at an average depth of 60 feet last between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on air availability. Before the second dive, there will be a brief tour to the arch, followed by a second dive, which is conducted at a shallower depth than the first.
