Once ready, you’ll go to the boat for a short 5 minute ride to the dive site. When you arrive there, you will receive complete instructions about gear, communication, environment and safety procedures. Then, you will start by practicing a few basic diving skills. Not to worry, as they are pretty easy and soon enough you will master them quickly and build your confidence.
Once you are done with the skills, it’s time to have the adventure of your life!

- Drinking alcohol is not recommendable at least 12 hours before diving
- Minimum age is 10 years

This is a once in a lifetime experience. - This was my first time diving. I will say this is an Experience that i will never forget. It was amazing. I would definitely go here again.And I would recommend it.

Beginner Scuba Diving - Cabo - This was a great experience! I didn’t get my open water diving certification completed in time so I signed up for the beginner dive which takes you down less than the 60 feet that certified divers can do. We took a boat over to Pelican rock and went in and wow, the water was so clear and all the animals underwater were amazing. I went end of June and while the initial dive in water was warm, swimming a tad bit down, the water becomes very cold. The instructor was very patient with me despite getting worried when I saw the depth but after calming me down I was able to go down and throughly enjoy the dive. Definitely want to come back to Cabo to actual dive/get certified here and bring a camera with SD card to record the beautiful underwater scenery. I highly recommend this experience, the 5 stars are no lie!

Great diving outfitter in Cabo - My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Manta. I was doing my cheeck off dives to finish my open water cert, and my husband was doing a refresher course. They were able to have us finish our independent curriculums while also allowing us to be able to dive together. Loris and Miro were incredibly supportive, fun, and encouraging the whole time. We will definitely go with Manta again when we are in the area!

Excellent Time! - Our instructor Lori’s was awesome! He was thorough and made us feel comfortable and safe! The dive was amazing and we can’t wait to get back down there. We saw a LOT of sea life! Thank you for a memorable experience!!

Underwater fear changed to underwater amazement! - The experience was incredible due to the amazing staff at Manta. I am terrified of the ocean, and attempted to quell that fear by trying a beginner dive class. Our instructor was Julio (the black shark) and I don’t think I could have been with a more experienced, patient, and overall hilarious, dive partner. He took away my anxiety with his cam demeanor in the ocean, and vigorous explanations and instructions beforehand. I had my eyes on him underwater and felt extremely safe! He opened my eyes to the underwater world and had such a respect for the ocean and its creatures, I couldn’t help but feel the same. I would highlight recommend this tour, and crew, for anyone!

Amazing beginner experience with Baptiste - Had a great time doing the beginner scuba dive with Baptiste in Cabo! For someone who hasn’t dived before, I found his explanations to be very clear. You get around 30 min of instructions in their office, after which he’ll help you put on your equipment and guide you on the dive; really enjoyed seeing the sealife and wrecks he pointed out during the dive. Can’t recommend what a great experience this was for a first time diver!

Great Scuba Certification Experience - I’m a 65 year that wanted to learn to scuba dive (bucket list item). After going through the initial classroom and pool training in Colorado, One World Dive & Travel (highly recommended), I went to Cabo San Lucas to perform my open water dives for certification. 

My instructor from Manta was Palo. Wow what a skilled diver and good teacher Palo is. I can’t wait to return. I wil definitely ask for Palo as a guide.

Amazing - So many beautiful coral and tropical fish. Our scuba instructor Loris was amazing, calm, friendly, and made the 1st scuba experience one I will always remember.

Pleasant experience - They take safety seriously, which is of prime importance in an activity like this. Angela is a great instructor. Make sure you have certification before signing up -- unless you are doing the discover scuba diving experience.
