Our route takes us through several towns (not listed here) as we make our way to the east coast, home to Buena Vista and Los Barriles. Here, we encounter the Sea of Cortez for the first time.
As we soak up the stunning views of the gulf and desert landscapes for some time, our trip gradually moves back inland towards the lower sierra mountains, home to the mining towns of San Bartolo.
