- CaboTrek - This is a 3 hours snorkeling tour to see the Mobula Manta Rays migration to the waters of Baja California Sur. We start from our shop, located at the the marina of Cabo San Lucas, at 9am for a 3 hours excursion. Part of the tour is visiting the famous Arch of Cabo and the sea lion colony. Right after that we’ll start the search for the big schools of Mobulas: as soon as we find them and have assessed the situation we will have multiple chances of getting in the water and observe a great number of Mobulas. Even for people not interested in the snorkeling activity, it is possible to see these animals as they breach 6-8 feet out of the water. Great photography opportunity. Soft drinks, snacks, all fees and all necessary equipment for the activity are included.

Baja California Sur boasts an incredible array of wildlife, with the Mobula Ray migration being a particularly spectacular event to witness. Thousands of rays move in unison, seeking food and eventually a tranquil place to mate. Courtship behaviors are also frequently observed. These relatively small creatures, which can grow up to 6-7 feet in wingspan, are renowned for their ability to leap out of the water, reaching heights of 6 to 8 feet! They travel in massive groups and are present in our region only during specific times of the year (May-July). This offers a fantastic snorkeling opportunity for adventure seekers!

Great experience with great guide - Cabotrek’s guide was a top-notch, polyglot, marine biologist. She showed skill managing teenagers and adults during the tour. The guide and captain made us all feel safe and were flexible with timing in each of the many stops we made to snorkel with the mobulas.
We totally recommend this professional, knowledgeable, fun, and friendly outfit.

Great Adverure with private attention! - Best adventure ever! Young well educated guide ! They take A very limited number which was ideal for us.

Amazing experience - We saw the arch, some pretty beaches, and a lot of wild lives!
Even though we were not lucky enough to see the Mobula Rays, our guide Donna and capitán Adrian brought us to a spot for snorkeling. There we saw a group of spotted eagle rays - super cool! We also saw a ton of different fishes. It was an amazing experience.

Cabo Trek for the family vava win! - Had an amazing time with Angelica and her crew. Very informative and answered all our questions. The staff was great with the younger kids. Would book again!!

Snorkelling at Pelican Rock. - Awesome. Booking was easy and staff really helpful. They provided us with wetsuits for free which was great because the water was still a bit cold. Snorkelling was fantastic - beautiful fish and coral, many species I'd never seen before. Best thing was the guide on the boat - Donna - who was really knowlegable and pointed things out to us while we were snorkelling.

A great morning snorkelling with Rays and Fishes! - A friendly and informative snorkelling trip with Cabo Trek to see mobula rays. We did the morning trip and managed to snorkel amongst a number of groups of rays on the Pacific side of Cabo, before we moved to the area around Pelican Rock to snorkel amogst the wealth of fish species that call it home. Guide Silvia was engaging, cheerful, and knowledgeable, while skipper Freddie kept an eye out for the rays and got us where we needed to be swiftly and safety. A super few hours swimming with the rays and fishes. Drinks and snacks were provided too, which was a nice bonus.
We choose Cabo Trek partly because of the small group sizes they take out - as it turned out there were just three of us our trip, so it was almost a private tour! We fully recommend Cabo Trek for snorkelling experiences around Cabo! :)

Ray day! - My original tour was canceled and Bea was so sweet and worked with me to get me on this one instead. What an amazing experience! I’m sorry if I get the names wrong,but Isabella and Freddy (I hope that is correct) were so kind and professional. They made sure we were safe at all times. We started the morning on a mini educational tour,then took photos by the arch. Soon after.. we went searching. The water was so clear spotting the rays was easy. Watching them swim in the water and gather at the bottom was so peaceful. The captain even spotted a turtle! Soon after we headed to pelican rock to snorkel. It was like being dropped in an aquarium. Our tour guide explained what we would see as well as a little about each fish. The only negative were all the bootleg tours who there. As well as the ignorant snorkelers who were climbing the rock, disturbing the baby seal.
It was a beautiful day! Educational and peaceful. Perfect for my fellow marine animal lovers, adventurers, solos, and couples. I look forward to using them again!
Please be aware you will be in deep water and the waves can be pretty moody. Life jackets are provided.

Amazing experience - Mobula Ray snorkeling tour with Vanuza and Freddie was amazing! We snorkeled with hundreds of mobulas and saw so many flying/jumping mobulas from the boat! We even witnessed mating tortugas! Our little group of guests were fun too! It was a great experience!

Vanusa is the greatest dm... - Vanusa is the greatest dm and Freddy is best skipper! We swam with huge group of Manila rays several time, it was tiring but fun!

No mobula rays, but still fun! - Maria was a great tour guide and Freddie was our captain. Maria was so helpful and knowledgeable. She made the trip great! We saw turtles, dolphins, and drove past the arch. We searched for a while but didn’t see any mobula rays, but snorkeling was fun and we appreciated everything. Our cruise ship was late to disembark and they were also understanding and accommodating. I would recommend booking with these guys.
