Private utv tour - Great experience. Pedro was a great tour guide, very friendly and worked with our pace. In our opinion the private tour was worth the price!

Must do - Did the utv private tour with Herrera. Just 4 of us. We had a blast! This is the best place in Cabo to do any type of four wheel, atv or utv tour!

Nickel and diamonds - The actual ride on the beach and through the desert area was good. The process of being haggled for the addition of insurance, resort $25 fee per person, vehicle upgrade, picture packages, and then a giant tip at the end from your tour guide is what made this experience not feel like a rip off. Additionally, the shuttle on the way there and from the hotel took forever. We left at 8:15 in the morning and didn’t get back to the hotel until 1:30. We booked our tour through the hotel for close to $200 a vehicle and then when we arrive at the location had to wait down a long line for over 35 minutes to go sign in and have the processor get the additional $25 fee per person and then try and up sell us on everything. At the end of our beach tour our driver told us that it’s customary to give a $40 tip per vehicle. You can do the math but a $200 trip easily turn into a $500 trip at the end of the day. This doesn’t take in to account the bandannas they try to sell you or tequila.

Exorbitant prices - Prices in Campos do Jordão are absurdly high. Why charge so much of the people who are out there walking with their families? It's the case of police practiced prices. Feeding in Capivari is impractical from so expensive. Drinks are an exploration. Chocolates are weight of gold.... Exploration is the word that defines with the vacationer is treated in Campos do Jordão. Tours are very expensive, climbing the cable car costs 70,00 per person, in a 3 min walk....absurd...

SCAM SCAM….so not book through your hotel - RIP OFF!! first of all there was another review were the person says they do not let you take your phone…this place is literally a scam in an organized way. First of all as soon as you get there they tell you have to wait for others to be able to start the tour, it could be hours. Then they tell you that you can bring your phone and start the tour on time if you pay an additional $260 🫤when I booked at my hotel they said the booking included the hat, glasses, and face covering. So therefore I did not bring my face covering. They of course sell it there and they also don’t tell you that they don’t have water for you at the stops. I have done other tours where they let you take your phone and also provide waters at the stops. It’s just as pretty and they don’t try to scam you quietly as much. I would not book with cactus tours again!!! The only positive was that there was this awesome tour guide that took a little pity on my little family and offered to take us for a tour….of course for a tip 🤑🤑but I was happy to oblige as I did not want to waste another hour to wait for the tour to fill up. I want to find where I’d do my previous tour and book through them. This place literally nickel and dimes everything. I WILL NOT GO BACK!!! If you already booked…..well then you are stuck but what I can tell you is bring your snacks and water and take the water with you on your ride. Bring a face covering and plenty of sunscreen or sun shirt. I paid $20 for my picture with my family instead of the $260 for private tour and ability to take my phone. Literally so disappointing but expected as they are trying to make a living. But this place gets extra low rating because of the greed factors, I mean literally not allowing people to take their phones, they watch you individually place your stuff in a locker and make sure you do not have your phone. In all the hustle I forgot my sunscreen and burned my arms. I felt like I was a prisoner being escorted and ensuring I did not bring contraband.
