10/10 would highly recommend this excursion - I went with my girlfriend and her extended family on this excursion — 15 of the 17 people were in our group and we had an absolute blast! The snorkeling was definitely the highlight. We saw a stingray, trigger fish, stonefish, a school of 50+ angel fish, several other awesome fishes, as well as a school of well over 1,000 fish. They did let you dive down without a life vest, if you felt comfortable doing so, which was awesome. I’m 31 years old and had never snorkeled and absolutely loved it. After the first little bit, I was diving down no problem and had a great time (and only swallowed sea water once!!)! Our guide, Daniel, was excellent, positive, knowledgeable and very up beat. He did a great job of spotting fish (I would not have seen the stonefish or stingray without him). We were lucky to have him and I can’t say enough good things about him — truly phenomenal guide and person. Our captain, Chuy, was also great. We started off the excursion with a quick little tour of the Sea of Cortez and he did a great job of navigating the waters and making sure our boat (which was on the smaller side) didn’t take on too many big waves at full speed. A photographer also joined us on the trip and his name was Pablo. He got some excellent pictures of our whole group (which again, was almost entirely family), and he also snorkeled and dived with us and got some truly awesome underwater pictures of both the fish and the people who were willing to dive. The photos cost money to buy at the end, but they were worth it. I think it was $170 for all 15 of us to buy well over 100 pictures, so per person, it was just over $10. As a note, I did bring my GoPro and got my own footage, so I was glad I was able to do that even with a professional photographer on board. (All the photos attached to this review are from Pablo). The only word of caution I would advise is the children that joined us didn’t have a great time. The children ranged in age from 7-12 and we had 6 total. Only 2 (the oldest ones) made it through the whole guided tour. They got overwhelmed by both the ocean and being forced to breathe through a tube, which is unnatural if you’ve never done it before. Daniel did his best to reassure them and calm them, but once a child starts the meltdown sequence, it’s hard to stop. But the two that made it, both had a great time. I would say any child over 10 who is a strong swimmer would likely have a great time and would be able to do it, no problem. Any younger than that and you might risk a little panic attack and meltdown. The paddle boarding, kayaking and water scootering at the end was a nice touch. It let the kids who had meltdowns still experience playing in the ocean and it was just a nice way to wind down and cap it off. Overall I’d highly recommend this excursion. It was well worth the money and we still talk about it days and weeks later (and I’m sure we’ll talk about it months and years later, too). Just hope you get Daniel as your guide because he’ll make it that much better.

Fun trip with a great crew - Super fun snorkeling trip with a great crew. Pablo, Luis and Salvador - thank you! They took wonderful care of us and ensured we had a lot of fun. We got to snorkel and play on some kayaks, paddle boards and a sea scooter. They took great photos as well, which will be fun memories to look back on. Would definitely book again!

All encompassing sailing excursion - It’s hard to find something that encompasses the whole family, but this trip was absolutely spectacular. The crew we had (Cuba, Captain Danni, and Estavan) were absolutely fantastic. And I can’t emphasize that enough. They were kind, accommodating, and they had so much to say about the geography in Cancun. Snorkeling was smoothly executed, and they had everything we could need ready on board (from masks to fins to life jackets) which was perfect for our novice and not so novice swimmers! They had an open bar for our older members to enjoy as well, which made the trip a little more exciting. The sailing portion was peaceful and relaxing, and such a cool experience. Really the whole thing was such an awesome trip for our whole family and I would highly highly recommend them.

Wonderful trip with UP Adventure Co. to Isle Royale NP - Isle Royale NP trip report 5/28-30/2024: Hired Capt. Justin and while not inexpensive, it was a great choice and value. PM me for name if you’d like to know. We were scheduled to leave on the 26th but waves/weather on Lake Superior were no joke with beautiful conditions forecast for 28th. I’m so glad we listened to Capt. Justin’s advice. 2 1/2 hr transit to ISNP with fishing by IR lighthouse and Malone Bay. Caught and released some big beautiful trout with 3 saved for dinner. Rock Harbor visitor center was NOT open The restaurant and lodge was open, but not many folks around. Then boated/fished to Duncan Bay where we set up camp for the night. Justin fixed a delicious dinner of fried fresh trout nuggets and steak. The topok the boys fishing after dinner, caught and released perch and watched a cow moose swim. Day #2, boated through Amygdaloid channel Windigo visitors center is fantasti with very interesting displays! Smooth water for a 2 hr return to Eagle Harbor. I chose UP Adventure Company because I just couldn’t figure out how to coordinate the ferries/seaplane/water taxis for Isle Royale National Park It was an excellent choice.

3 men, One boat - Pedro, Pablo, Jose did amazing at reassuring me the trip would be safe and fun. The whole time I felt cared for and I laughed more than ever. They had great facts to share about the places we went too and did great at setting up great photo ops. Over all I would come back and do it again as long as them 3 are in charge! Seriously the best men!

Just ok… - Not anything special. Took us way out to snorkel where there were no fish. It was just ok. They had ‘complimentary’ quesadillas for the guests (which were DELICIOUS) and we were charged $8 for an additional quesadilla my husband had. Very tacky. It was a clean nice facility but I was underwhelmed with the hospitality

Not worth the price - Honestly, this tour was disappointing. For the price, it is not worth it. They take you to a location with barely any fish that is next to a noisy construction site. The waters were also freezing even though it was a sunny day and everyone on our tour was out of the water on a kayak in less than 20 minutes. I personally would not recommend.
