The Call of the Baja Peninsula

The sun had barely risen when I found myself being whisked away from my hotel, joining a group of fellow thrill-seekers on a journey to the heart of Los Cerritos. Our destination? The renowned Tierra Sagrada, a sanctuary of adventure nestled on the Pacific Coast. As we traveled along the west coast of the Baja Peninsula, the anticipation was palpable. The promise of an electric bike adventure, coupled with the allure of tequila tasting and a sumptuous Mexican feast, was enough to set my adrenaline racing.

Upon arrival, the eco-farm’s vibrant atmosphere was infectious. The air was filled with the sounds of nature, punctuated by the occasional call of a rooster. Our guide, Isaak, and photographer, Chino, greeted us with enthusiasm that was nothing short of contagious. With no other participants in sight, it felt like a private expedition tailored just for us. After a brief introduction to the electric bikes, we were ready to embark on our journey.

Conquering the Trails

With a deft hand, he mixed Mezcal, lime juice, and Cointreau, creating a concoction that was both refreshing and invigorating. The addition of salt and chili salt on the rim added a delightful twist, a testament to the rich flavors of Mexico.

With our drinks in hand, we settled down to enjoy a feast that was as authentic as it was delicious. The spread was a celebration of Mexican cuisine, with an array of meats, vegetables, rice, and salad. Each bite was a reminder of the vibrant culture and traditions that make Mexico so unique.
