Dolphins and Turtles by Kayak - We booked this trip with one of the shops near the beach. We were picked up from Costa Adeje and taken to Los Cristianos. On arrival you are kitted out with a life vest and sea shoes if you need them. You then go down to the beach with your guide and are given a safety briefing. Sebastian was very knowledgeable and explained things well. If you listen and do as asked you’ll have a good trip. The Kayaking is quite hard work but very enjoyable, the views of the cliffs and the wildlife are excellent, we saw some Dolphins and a Turtle who popped up right next to us. Unfortunately we weren’t able to snorkel as the sea was quite choppy and it would have been dangerous, but we got to see the Dolphins and Turtle anyway. We paid for the photographs taken and were sent a link with them all on. We have some great photos of our day. I’d definitely recommend this trip.

Kayaking + snorkeling with turtles - Myself and my friend had such an amazing experience! We saw dolphins in the open sea and were able to get off the kayak and snorkel. Unfortunately, we did not see any turtles (this is the nature of sea life - it’s not guaranteed that they will always be there), but we did see lots of fish and the sea would lovely and clear.

Amazing wouldn’t choose a different company - So this was a risk for me as I am so scared of the sea but my friend loves it and after a boat trip earlier in the holiday I felt confident enough to do it! I cannot thank Rasta and his team enough for making this experience so incredible for us. They are all such lovely staff and make you feel so comfortable no one got left behind. Thank you we love you x

Fantastic, knowledgable and eco friendly tour with lots of wildlife - Amazing company highly recommend. Great communication before trip, emailed a question and had a reply in about 10 mins. We (family of 4, children age 7 and 10) had a fantastic kayak and snorkeling trip today with David. Organised, with a video briefing and summary of key points on arrival. David was brilliant, lots of interesting facts and great knowledge of the area. We saw Dolphins Turtles and flying fish. They also pick up any rubbish they see whilst out kayaking. Highly recommend this trip and will definitely use again.

Great kayaking trip - Had a great afternoon and really good experience on the kayak trip. We weren't fortunate enough to see dolphins but saw some amazing fish during the snorkeling session. Big shout out to the guides, Davide & Jorge who were very supportive and helped make the trip.

Average - The start of the tour was quite unorganised the lady took our money and then 5 minutes later asked what hotel we were in to return home and to write a review, we explained we had not even yet been on the tour. The guide Sebastian appeared friendly to begin with and gave a good explanation as to how to manoeuvre the kayaks, however, once in the water left the group quite a distance and stayed with the ones who found it easier leaving people to struggle at the back without checking to see if they were ok or needed help. My partner capsized the kayak in the water and the guide appeared annoyed by this and told us to get straight back in as it was not a good place to be in the water. He did not help us to do this. We had explained this is our first time doing it so may find it a struggle, You spend the majority of time kayaking which is quite gruelling especially in the heat. It is supposed to be 2hr but we were out near enough 4hrs which was quite strenuous. There were 2 stops and we saw dolphins near the fish farm which was great to see, no turtles but they cannot control this so was not a problem. We stopped to snorkel and the instructor did not explain what to do with them or how to use them. He also just disappeared to do his own thing which we felt was odd as we were a big group and if someone got into trouble how could they help?? He was often miles in front without checking to see how people were. The snorkels did not look clean and were poor condition I had mine replaced twice as they were broken. We then had to pull our kayaks back to the shop which again after 4hrs kayaking was a task. Not the best experience and the guide could’ve been a lot more attentive to those without experience.

Extremely disappointed - When reading the description we thought that we were booking kayaking to go and see turtles, when in reality, we may as well not have bothered. During the briefing our guide, David, gave us the safety instructions and told us all to stick together to make it easier for them to help us in the event of emergency. He had a colleague with him as a second hand who I assumed would stay at the back of the group whilst David stayed at the front. In reality, as soon as David saw the pace of the quickest kayakers, he stuck with them. There were 2 occasions where we were left some 300 metres away from the rest of the group, and the second guide had joined the others at the front of the pack. Given the choppy conditions, if our kayak had flipped, there is no way that they would have been able to make it back to us quickly which was incredibly dangerous. In addition, we both had to paddle harder to try and keep up with them, so by the time we actually caught up to the group, I was feeling incredibly sick and unenergised. We told David that he needed to slow down and that I was feeling sick, and he eventually slowed the pace a little. The snorkelling goggles which we were given were shocking - they kept filling with water and fogging up, so neither of us could actually do the snorkelling properly either. Not that there were any turtles to actually see! On the way back I was so exhausted that I actually vomited, which should not have happened we weren’t sticking to a pace of experienced and professional kayakers. Another couple afterwards said exactly the same as us, that as beginners, this experience was not at all enjoyable for them. So, in summary, if you’re a beginner or not an experienced kayaker, do not bother. You will be dangerously left on your own in choppy conditions. This experience was a complete waste of money, I would not recommend it and I will definitely be looking at alternatives next time.
