You need to be a wee bit... - You need to be a wee bit for this activity. We did it on a calm day and I was knackered after it. We saw dolphins and a few turtles.

Brilliant day out 🛶 🐢 🐬 - Brilliant day out! Santiago was an excellent guide, explained everything really thoroughly and is clearly passionate about the scenery and the wildlife, making an effort to ensure we spotted as many dolphins & turtles as possible. Well worth the money! (N.B. Requires a basic level of physical fitness as you need to be able to paddle 6km & be able to pull yourself back into the kayak if you fall out/capsize. Not for those who get seasick!)

Dolphins and Turtles by Kayak - We booked this trip with one of the shops near the beach. We were picked up from Costa Adeje and taken to Los Cristianos. On arrival you are kitted out with a life vest and sea shoes if you need them. You then go down to the beach with your guide and are given a safety briefing. Sebastian was very knowledgeable and explained things well. If you listen and do as asked you’ll have a good trip. The Kayaking is quite hard work but very enjoyable, the views of the cliffs and the wildlife are excellent, we saw some Dolphins and a Turtle who popped up right next to us. Unfortunately we weren’t able to snorkel as the sea was quite choppy and it would have been dangerous, but we got to see the Dolphins and Turtle anyway. We paid for the photographs taken and were sent a link with them all on. We have some great photos of our day. I’d definitely recommend this trip.

Kayaking + snorkeling with turtles - Myself and my friend had such an amazing experience! We saw dolphins in the open sea and were able to get off the kayak and snorkel. Unfortunately, we did not see any turtles (this is the nature of sea life - it’s not guaranteed that they will always be there), but we did see lots of fish and the sea would lovely and clear.

Twixmas Kayaking & Snorkeling - + : Ayoub was very friendly and informative. He briefed us before on safety protocols to ensure everyone felt relaxed and enjoyed the trip. He took lots of photos during our session which he showed us afterwards. The sea was calm throughout. We saw a pod of dolphins (from a distance). The group size was OK (15 pax). - : We had to wait for almost 45mins for a family who were late. We departed approx 3pm and returned approx 5pm. The weather was overcast so snorkeling viewing was limited (fish, but no turtles).

A great afternoon on the water - We enjoyed our kayaking trip with Kayak Atlantis. The team were professional and it was easy to book and get information. The location is easy to find and the amenities are sufficient. The equipment was great as was the briefing. The time on the water was good too. We saw 5 dolphins and had a great time getting close to the caves and cliffs. Ayoub was a fab guide who was knowledgeable and kept the energy up. We felt very safe with him and he did a great job of keeping us altogether. We did have to wait a long time before we started the trip - over 30 mins while we waited for the rest of the group. We still had 2 hrs on the water which was the main thing.

Average - The start of the tour was quite unorganised the lady took our money and then 5 minutes later asked what hotel we were in to return home and to write a review, we explained we had not even yet been on the tour. The guide Sebastian appeared friendly to begin with and gave a good explanation as to how to manoeuvre the kayaks, however, once in the water left the group quite a distance and stayed with the ones who found it easier leaving people to struggle at the back without checking to see if they were ok or needed help. My partner capsized the kayak in the water and the guide appeared annoyed by this and told us to get straight back in as it was not a good place to be in the water. He did not help us to do this. We had explained this is our first time doing it so may find it a struggle, You spend the majority of time kayaking which is quite gruelling especially in the heat. It is supposed to be 2hr but we were out near enough 4hrs which was quite strenuous. There were 2 stops and we saw dolphins near the fish farm which was great to see, no turtles but they cannot control this so was not a problem. We stopped to snorkel and the instructor did not explain what to do with them or how to use them. He also just disappeared to do his own thing which we felt was odd as we were a big group and if someone got into trouble how could they help?? He was often miles in front without checking to see how people were. The snorkels did not look clean and were poor condition I had mine replaced twice as they were broken. We then had to pull our kayaks back to the shop which again after 4hrs kayaking was a task. Not the best experience and the guide could’ve been a lot more attentive to those without experience.
