Excellent day trip - This trip was an excellent way to explore the island of La Gomera, which is a 50-minute ferry ride from Tenerife. The guide was informative, and the itinerary was well-planned to see the highlights of the whole island. At first it seemed a bit pricey at about $150 Cdn, but when you consider the price of the ferry alone, and the fact that a delicious lunch was included, this trip is in fact very good value.

An amazing Guide!! - From being picked up Los Gigantes to boarding the boat despite having left our passports on the dressing table, we were saved by our guide Enrico. He was absolutely amazing for the whole day. He made everyone comfortable, he was friendly almost comedic, but a consumate professional . We learnt so much and felt in safe hands throughout the day. The views were fantastic, the company good and the meal was spot on. Well worth the money and 6am rise.

Thoroughly enjoyable tour - I highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Paolo, was very helpful and provided information about the formation of this island, its history and its crops. He answered all questions thoroughly during the trip. Everything ran well with time given at each stop. The lunch was served promptly and followed by a demonstration of whistling that is a form of communication on the island. We were given time at the end of the tour in San Sebastian for some exploration and some shopping before boarding the ferry back to Tenerife. The bus in Tenerife returned us to our hotel. This was a thoroughly enjoyable day.

La Gomera with lovely Yaiza - Yaiza was a wonderful guide. We had a fabulous day being taken around the island with her wonderful knowledge. She had a small issue with the transfer back from the ferry port but kept us ll informed and don’t leave us until we had all been picked up. Lovely lady and lovely trip. Can’t recommend enough.

Excellent tour to La Gomera - Great full day tour in La Gomera. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. We were driven to the port in Los Cristianos and got the ferry to La Gomera. This was a fun experience in itself! Our tour guide José was excellent, extremely informative and knowledgable and answered any questions. He spoke at least 3 languages, Spanish, English and German. Our coach driver Francisco was very skilled at navigating the tight and winding roads, some just single lanes, through the mountains. La Gomera is an amazing country with breathtaking views, where the clouds are touching the mountain tops and a beautiful forest. San Sebastián was interesting with a statue of Christopher Columbus. The trip included a 3 course lunch with wine and we had a demonstration of a local whistling language silbo gomero which is a whistled language practised by some inhabitants of the Canary Islands to communicate across ravines. It was very interesting. We had plenty of stops for photos of the stunning views and rest stops for refreshments along the way. Probably the best guided tour we’ve ever been on and we thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it. La Gomera is definitely worth visiting as it’s truly beautiful.

A good day out - A good day out, but more time could be spent at some places, such as the old town which you just whizz through, it was a nice way to see the island though. The lunch was nice and a good location.

Interesting view of another area - The landscape and views were spectacular. The transfer and ferry journey was okay with good clear communication of where to be and when. The tour could have focused on a target language. The guide spent so much time translating the commentary was a constant drone. Lunch was good although crammed into the restaurant. The whistle demonstration was very interesting.

Wurst experience in 10+ years - My wife and i have been travelling for 10 years multiple times a year so we did 100’s of excursions. This was, by a long shot, the wurst ever tour we had. We knew we’d lose 1 hour 2 times going back and forth on the ferry. But the 10hour trip we exactly had - 2 20min stops, on classic tourist traps. where you bearly had time to go pee due to it being at 60man bus group. - 3 5min stop at a sight in my eyes not wurth seeing -1hour for food where the staff stuffed us 3 cources in 40min and were very unfriendly. We paid 100€ per person for basicly spending 8hours driving or on the boat. I have never experienced something like this. This is a total rip off. Our guide was talking like she was on a sexline. And no, ladies and gentleman i’m not exaggerating. Many complained about this and laughing at her during the “ lunch “. The company who advised this is located in los christianos. 1Av. Juan Alfonso Batista. I can bearly believe this day actualy happened and that they advertise such a tour for 100€ per person. Sad to say this tour was a lost day so dont do it! Only man who did a good job was the bus driver!
