The Ship of the Virgin, a replica of the Santa María, the ship on which Christopher Columbus discovered America. It was constructed in honor of the sailors from La Palma who embarked on voyages with sailboats crafted from local wood. Inside, there is a naval museum featuring charts and models of some of these ships made on the island.
