A must-do trip on Tenerife - It was an amazing tour - we visited some lovely towns in the northern part of Tenerife. Our guide was also great, very knowledgeable and smart, telling interesting stories along the way in four (!) languages. The last destination of our trip was Masca - a Spanish Machu Picchu. Our driver performed miracles as the road was nothing short of a roller coaster. This trip definitely exceeded our expectations! It's definitely a must-see trip on Tenerife.

Top excursions, ole - Chantal our guide speaks perfectly and English and French. It's very, very nice. It's an encyclopedia from Tenerife. This island has very few secrets for her. I learned a lot about the volcanic activity of the Canary Islands and the flora of Tenerife, the history of this wonderful island. She has a lot of humor, too. The excursion was very intense, little time to discover and at the same time in some places it was enough. I regret a little that in garachico we had only 55 minutes, and the visit to the shop at the beginning for me was not necessary. Small advice if interested more time in garachico and no stop at the shop at first. Otherwise it was fantastic. My teenagers, adults, aged 18 to 25, loved it. And taking the bus to and from masca is much better, even fun. ole

Impressive experiences, very good care - Exciting area, prudent guide, good Canarian lunch. Masca was the highlight and our experienced driver brought us home very well and safely.

Couple of things to be aware of: sat on bus a lot, sheer drops - Pick up was fine.
Guide was good and the driver proved to be fantastic, and earned his tip from us later in the journey.
First stop was 30 minutes at a gift shop, with a toilet break.
Next was 30 minutes at the Mount Teide visitor centre. Toilets were 1 Euro.
Next was Icod, the roads were starting to get very twisty down the mountain. Again, 30 minutes stop with a short walk past the Dragon Tree.
Then across to Garachico for a 60 minute lunch break. Would advise taking your own lunch. Saves time and money.
Final stop was Masca. The views are awesome and the steepness of the mountain roads in and out of the village, with endless hairpin bends, were where the driver really earned his money. It must be a tiring day’s work driving on this excursion.
Interesting trip overall but be aware that most of the day is spent on the bus. It was an eight hour day with a total of about two and a half hours not sat on the bus.
Also, if driving on roads that have sheer drops makes you uncomfortable, maybe give this some thought before booking this excursion.

Great day out - Quite a long day but very interesting visiting Teide and villages south west of the island. Spectacular views along the Masca road not for the faint hearted travellers who don’t like heights. Guide was very informative but not sure it was really necessary in 4 languages which meant a lot of talking.

Had a good experience. ... - Had a Good experience and value for money.
Mount Teide Tour was good. Saw Mount Teide but from afar and had around 30 minutes to view and walk around. I wish I could have spent more time going closer or having a chance for the Cable Car but we did not have enough time.
The Town Icod was very nice, gave really good vibes and we saw the oldest Dragon Tree. Unfortunately, we were not able to get close to it, but was nice to view.
Garachico was a very nice town, quite small but the beach views were excellent. I would suggest walking and exploring or having a nice lunch by the beach.
Masca Valley was good but a part of me felt justice was not made, and I would have loved to understand this more via the guide, and spend further time to explore the place. We only had 25 minutes which were not enough considering food and other breaks.
One thing I absolutely enjoyed were the views including whilst travelling in the bus. I would recommend paying a little extra and sitting in the front for a better experience (as I did not)

Nice tour - see a lot. - Nice tour. You see a lot and scenery was amazing. However guide gave presentation in 4 languages so actual info was limited and at times hard to follow when he switched languages. Stops at each location were short and would have been nice to spend more time but understand that they pack a lot into the day.

Beautiful island, but only short stops at the most iconic places. - Nice destinations, guide and great driver, but it was rushed. Most of the time is spend in the bus, and the stops at the actual places are very short. 20 minutes at Masca was quite disappointing as everyone loved it there and would have loved to spend more time there. Especially since we had a long stop at a tourist souvenir shop.which was a waste of time. The tour was in 3 languages all day. It would have been better to put people of the same language together in a group.

Not worth it! - We spent 7 hours inside the bus and only 2 hours outside: 30 min in a tourist shop (waste of time), 30 min at the Teide viewpoint, 5 min at the side of the road to take pictures of the Dragon tree 200 m away, 45 min in Garachico and 15 min i Masca. We really wanted to spend more time in Masca! Also the guide repeated everything in three languages, so it was never silence in the bus. The trip lasted one hour longer than normal because of bus problems
