Countryside tour is worth the drive - Beautiful countryside and great to learn more about the history of the area with Chris, our friendly and expert guide. Very organized and well managed for the time we had. Wine tasting was delish and fun to a smaller winery. E-bikes make it a breeze!

Fun, easy bike tour with fantastic guides - good for all levels! - We had a group of 10 people, friends and family, of all fitness levels, and each one of us LOVED this tour. 3 people had e-bikes, the rest of us regular bikes, and it was easy and fun to stay together. I can't decide if the highlight of the tour was the scenery, the history, the olive oil tasting, the wine tasting/lunch, or Dennis and Scott, our incredibly generous, informative, helpful guides. The ride was mostly easy with some moderate inclines throughout. Thank you, SB Wine Country Cycling Tours - you are an easy recommendation, and we will be back!

Gorgeous, easeful, cultural, and delicious! - This tour was simply perfect! Scott and Denis were the warmest, most capable and informative guides. The route was gorgeous. Figueroa mountain road has breathtaking views, an easy terrain and lots of room to ride with ease. E-bikes were optional, and not necessary if you’re comfortable riding a bike in easy- moderate terrain. The breaks were timed perfectly, and the food was delicious. They even surprised us with cupcakes for my sister’s birthday celebration. We felt like we were long lost friends with our guides at the end of our tour. We all want to come back and bring all our friends!

Relaxing Fun - My son and I spent a wonderful, fun and relaxing day riding e-bikes and learning about the area with our tour guide, Scott. I have ridden in this area several times but knew nothing about the background of the region. Scott gave us an entertaining history lesson, and the lunch and the wine tastings were a terrific added bonus. I highly recommend this tour!

Very enjoyable experience - Very nice scenery and we enjoyed the wine and olive oil tasting. It was a very warm day and our guide did an excellent job finding shade and telling us about the area.

Best Birthday surprise ever!! - I surprised my partner, Jared with this experience and we had the best time! Scott was our tour guide and he spared no detail on the history of the area and fun facts about the farming. I left with a deep appreciation for this area and all it has to offer. We felt safe, were able to go at a pace that worked for us with the e bikes and enjoyed the delicious olive oil tasting + wine tasting and lunch. It was a relaxing and special day! Going on a weekday was clutch as it was very quiet around town with not too much traffic. Scott and Dorothy were wonderful, we invited them to sit with us during lunch as they have an incredible love story and are both full of joy with easy going natures. 10/10 recommend!

We were inexperienced riders but this turned out to be a wonderful experience for couples! - Great experience! Read below: We were a little anxious but Corey and staff were flexible and communicative leading up to our ride. The bikes were brand-name and well maintained. The team made us feel safe and secure during the 15 mile journey. Our guide had pre-planned places where we were able to pull over, rehydrate, and take amazing photos of the scenery and spectacular views. Ask about the olive oil tasting and lavender field stops — well worth the detour. Our tour was capped off with a great lunch and wine tasting experience at a local winery. Once in a lifetime experience and hard earned money well spent! Pro tip: If you can find it in your heart to bring some extra cash for your tour guide at the end of the day for gratuity, you will be glad you did so. Although they will never talk about it, it’s very clear that they put in a lot of work behind the scenes to ensure your bikes, pit stops, water bottle, and food/wine reservations are seamless so you don’t need to stress or plan much in advance. All you need to do is pedal and soak in the whole experience. Highly recommend!

Leisurely ride through beautiful country with delightful, knowledgeable guide - I didn't realize when I booked this that it would be just my husband, me and our wonderful guide, Scott, so that was a great surprise - a private bike ride full of history on a gorgeous day in the Santa Ynez Valley. Scott is lovely, and so knowledgeable about the area and it's history - and, as a bonus, is a huge Civil War history buff, so being from Atlanta, and my husband's family being from VA (and one not-so-distant ancestor having been in Pickett's Charge), we had some fun talking about that. The ride is easy and we had fabulous weather; not too much traffic the day we went. The olive oil tasting was great, and we had a lovely lunch (provided by Scott's lovely wife, Dorothy) at the winery at the end. All around, a very pleasant way to spend the morning. The ride is not strenuous at all, so if you are looking for harder riding, this isn't for you; I'd call it a leisurely ride.
