Highlights

Ebikes Rental Louisburgh, Co. Mayo\n\nEbikes are an effortless way to explore Louisburgh and the surrounding areas. \n\nOur 3 hour guided tour is focused on slowing down, taking in the fabulous views and weather permitting stopping for a picnic along the way. There are a number of routes in the Louisburgh area but our unique Smooth Cruzin tours are centred around Doolough Valley and the river crossing in Leacta. The route is decided on the day based on the groups biking ability. For example our tour to the river crossing at Leacta is beginner focused as the road is flat and relatively car-free yet offers breathtaking views as it cuts through the valley while hugging the Bunowen River. For the more experienced groups, Doolough Valley offers the perfect setting to experience what is arguably one of the most beautiful sections of the Wild Atlantic Way.\n\nThe tour takes you through stunning sections of the Clew Bay Archaeological Trail which gives us a glimpse into life in early Christian Ireland.\n\nThe ebikes are premium step through frames. This makes it way easier to get on and off the bikes. All of our bikes have 4 inch wide fat tyres that offer stability and comfort due to the increased contact surface. The bikes are fitted with integrated lights. The back light illuminates when the brakes are pulled. There are 5 levels of assistance to choose from on the bikes. We recommend using levels 1 and 2 to cruz. For those pesky hills just increase the assistance for effortless fresh air.\n\nPoints of Interest\n\n- Books At One

Additional Information

Smooth Cruzin stands as the sole provider of ebike rentals and self-care products in Louisburgh.

Often with regular bike rentals, people tend to worry about how distant and quick they can travel. At Smooth Cruzin Ebike Rental, however, we encourage a different perspective - one that encourages individuals to take their time and enjoy the ride rather than speeding through.

During our weekday 3-hour guided tours from Mon-Fri, our goal is to promote a relaxing pace, allowing guests to take pleasure in the awe-inspiring scenery and, if weather conditions are favorable, make a stop for a picnic. The Louisburgh area boasts several routes, but none compare to our distinct Smooth Cruzin tour. Our beginner-friendly trip to the Leacta river crossing takes you on a virtually car-free road. The journey offers stunning sights as it winds around the Bunowen River and carves a path through the valley. The Doolough Valley provides an excellent backdrop, showcasing one of the most striking sections of the Wild Atlantic Way.

In addition to our tours, we also offer a range of refreshing cold beverages. Our self-care section has a variety of items perfect for either treating yourself or gifting someone special. Make sure to drop by our store to see what we have to offer.

The perfect way to see County Mayo - An e-bike is the perfect way to explore the Irish countryside. Miriam was wonderful & generous. Our group comprised different ages as well as skill and fitness levels and everyone did great. There’s nothing quite like being immersed in the scenery. My favorite activity of our trip to Ireland so far!

Ups and downs in Martinique - Magnificent country, with breathtaking landscapes, especially in the north. All winding, beautiful beaches and interesting restaurants. We spent 3 weeks there, including one based in Case Pilote, and 2 based in Le Marin (to the south). Each location is distinct and interesting. Special feature of Case Pilote, a beautiful little village. However, noisy, because urban roosters crowing all day long, and even so, are very disturbing. Still a bit dirty place. In Le Marin, a very beautiful town with a large marina, and a very pleasant place. Martinique is a place where you must have a rented car to visit the very varied sites. The beaches are beautiful and contain lush vegetation - however don't have too high expectations as they were found to be ordinary. On the other hand, for snorkeling, it's fabulous. Now for the negatives. Driving a car is very unpleasant there. The roads are narrow and dangerous, winding and very stressful. Motorists, both Martinicans and the numerous French tourists, are all equally rude and reckless. The drivers are all in a hurry, follow you too closely and overtake in risky places. As for motorcycles, a whole bunch of weirdos who overtake anywhere and at high risk levels. Very stressful and unpleasant to drive in this country, as I drive almost everywhere in North America. Motorists are also rude to pedestrians - good luck to pedestrians even in parking lots. The food in the restaurants, on the other hand, is good and we made some great discoveries. As for the people, the levels of politeness and good humor are very low. PS: we caught dengue fever and were therefore sick for a week. Be warned. Also, we were deprived of WIFI for almost a week at Case Pilote, because the internet provider is in no hurry and my AIRBNB owner made fun of me. We went there during Carnival - interesting to see, but also very noisy and disturbing, because of celebrations and noise at all hours. The accommodations are ordinary and the level of cleanliness is questionable, even if the AIR ratings BNB were good. So, in summary, interesting trip but don't have your expectations too high.
