Highlights
  • 141 N 6th St - Discover the story of George Rogers Clark, a Revolutionary War Hero and the founder of Louisville. Legend has it that his spirit is bound to his statue, causing the air around it to become chillingly cold and emanating a dark, angry energy that visitors can feel.
  • 401 W River Rd - Uncover the haunted history of the Mary M. Miller Riverboat, where the spirit of its namesake is often seen in the control room. Mary made history as America’s first female licensed steamboat captain, and her tale is one you won’t want to miss.
  • 21c Museum Hotel - Dive into the intriguing ghost stories linked to the 21c Museum and Hotel. Originally a 19th-century tobacco and bourbon warehouse, guests have reported seeing (and smelling) many unusual phenomena during their stay.
  • Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory - Batter up! Employees of this factory have reported sightings and sounds of several baseball players’ spirits within these walls. Listen as your guide shares tales of these players, who seem to still be aiming for a home run.
  • Frazier History Museum - This museum, housing one of the world’s largest collections of toy soldiers and historic miniatures, is rich in history and hauntings. Enjoy stories of miniatures moving on their own, a ghostly rider on horseback traversing the galleries, and more.
  • South 6th Street & Park Avenue - Explore The Witches’ Tree, a favorite spot for history enthusiasts and paranormal fans. Decorated with trinkets and baubles from locals seeking to appease vengeful witches, this gnarled tree is said to be home to numerous spirits. Add this bonus stop for an extra dose of spooky fun.
  • Conrad-Caldwell House Museum (Conrad’s Castle) - Once known as “Conrad’s Castle,” this historic Victorian mansion is inhabited by several spirits, including its original owners. Enjoy these tales on your extended tour!
