- 1340 S 4th St - We are a white building with a red terra-cotta roof and arched doors and windows inside Central Park. Parking is available on the surrounding streets and you will walk into the park to meet us. We take your safety and comfort seriously. The Visitors Center provides a clean restroom. The Visitors Center is located next to a police substation. The Historic Old Louisville Walking Tour showcases the nation’s largest Victorian Mansion district.

The Historic Old Louisville Walking Tour is a guide-led journey through the Victorian Mansion quarter at the heart of Old Louisville. The tour, envisioned by a distinguished local architect and historian, emphasizes the history and design features of this nationally acknowledged historic preservation area, home to the broadest collection of Victorian Mansions in the U.S. The tour initiates from the cozy Visitors Center in Central Park, a creation of Frederick Law Olmsted. Every ticket bought contributes to the nonprofit Old Louisville Neighborhood Council’s efforts to safeguard the nation’s most extensive uninterrupted assembly of Victorian mansions and their associated landscape. Historic Louisville - Our guide Molly was so informative about the homes’ history and architecture. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed a leisurely pace. A must see for a different view of this great city!

Excellent, informative, architectural tour - Friendly, engaging, pleasant, knowledgeable tour guide Jasmine kept tour lively and interesting.
She went out of her way to apprise us of potential traffic issues on the day of our tour and kept us informed as to best route.

Thank you Jasmine for an enlightening walk! - Like other reviews, we thoroughly enjoyed this educational tour of some of the outstanding houses in Old Louisville. Jasmine was our personable tour guide, and her knowledge of the architecture and history of the homes was impressive. It was a beautiful morning, but on a hot day you might want to pack a water bottle!

Old town tour - Jasmine, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and clearly loves the old neighborhood. If you appreciate architecture explained with an amusing historical prospective, this tour is for you.
Probably not great for children.
A refreshing break from Whiskey Row.

Tour before the Derby - It was ok but overrated and way too expensive. The tour guy was really trying to give as much information as possible and was very carefull to our needs. However there is not so much to see
