Highlights
  • The Old House - Once the site of Dr William McDowell, the home known to locals as the Old House, this is the oldest residence in Downtown Louisville. The Doctor tried a variety of failed experiments to treat tuberculosis with his patients during the mid 1800s. Their emaciated ghosts still haunt this home today.
  • Seelbach Hotel - The 4 diamond Seelbach Hotel has an amazing guest list including F. Scott Fitzgerald, several U.S. Presidents, Muhammad Ali and was a favorite hangout for gangster Al Capone. But the most enigmatic guest is Derby Cityā€™s most famous ghost, the Lady in Blue. The guide will explore her true tragic past and her hauntings of the present.
  • Vital Sites at The Brennan House - Built by a local distiller named Thomas Brennan, this historically preserved home was the residence for the both brilliant and bizarre Brennan family for many years. Several of the peculiar familyā€™s ghosts haunt visitors to this very day.

A disappointment - The history was a little interesting. This was our first ghost tour so we expected more. Tour guide did a good job with what she had to work with. Unfortunately, I felt that it was a waste of money. I have been on other Viator tours that were wonderful so I would still recommend Viator, just not this tour.
