Best outdoor market (not Gypsy market) - The gypsy market was just ok, but something to see. Definitely, haggle the price. However, our tour guide, Johnny told us about the town market. Now, that is well worth the trip. The fresh fruit and vegetables were amazing. The markets with meat and cheese were amazing. 3 hours is just not enough for the markets and shops. I could have spent all day there.

Loule Market - Lovely chatty guide. Made the trip to and from loule a delight. Good information along the way. The gypsy market was a lot smaller than I've seen but was grand to wander around Loule.

If you have spare time, worth a visit! - We went to Loulé on a “non” market day. However, this doesn’t mean you are in front of closed doors. Very small but cute market with individual vendors. Lot’s of spices, fish and pottery. Idyllic to sit outside, have a coffee or a bite to eat. We parked behind the church by the park. It is tight but only a 5 minute walk from the market.

Great markets, nice food - The markets were great, beautiful fresh food to buy and lots of stalls. The tour guide was very nice and also informative. The price charged by Viator however didn’t show me the the cost of the ride there and back was in American dollars until after I actually paid for it. In my opinion almost $30 Canadian was a bit much to pay for just a ride.

Nice day out - Its only open on a Saturday, it was a nice day out for my last day there. Its a 5-10 minute walk away from the other main market, you have enough time for 3 hours.

Not for us - The bus driver was brilliant. But tour was not as expected and maybe I misunderstood but we were dropped off and told one market to the left one to thr right. Meet back here from 11.40 onwards. Im the end we got an uber back to our hotel as just not worth the money or the time. Plus side we stopped at the pancake factory which was excellent. All in all if you want to experience a market I ly this isn't for you. As you are left to walk through the village alone. However as I said that may just be me misunderstanding.

Wasn't fun - Was Small Market and far too much free time nothing considering the fresh market that would also be there, Unfortunately I would not recommend this to anyone else

Traditional Market, better than the Gypsy Market - I don't feel a visit to the Gypsy Market is worth it, however if you go into the old town (Loule) to a traditional Portuguese Fruit, Veg, fish, meat market it is well worth a visit . Have a coffee and watch the world go by ... half day is enough
