Who knew Algarve region has good wine Quinta da Tor is the place to try! - I am rating this winery a five for the service, food, wine and atmosphere. Thelma was friendly, attentive, informative and made us feel right at home. We arrived early. Thelma took care of us right away, we had lunch and started our wine tasting. The Syrah’s were our favorite. We bought one bottle and would have bought more if were weren’t leaving the next day. The food was perfect - best chorizo we have had so far, lovely cheese board etc.. The tour was led by Thelma and she kept us informed and amused. Quinta do Tor is a boutique winery. Not a huge winery such as you would find in Porto or Alentejo. However the wine was as good as what we tasted in Porto and Alentejo. We highly recommend Quinta do Tor. reservations can be made online.

Enjoyable experience - We really enjoyed Telma’s tour of the Quinta Da Tor working vineyard - very informative and enjoyable. The wine tasting experience was very enjoyable - the wine was beautiful! Couldn’t leave without buying a bottle of our favourites Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed!

An absolute must - This tour is an absolute must! Beautiful setting and amazing value for money. Telma gave a brilliant tour and wine tasting experience, she was friendly, knowledgeable and kept it interesting. Great staff team and we loved the wine! We will definitely return, hopefully when it's warm enough for a swim.

Highly recommended. Price quality excellent - Price quality excellent. Good clear explanation. Delicious wines with bread homemade and own oil. The tapas also tasted excellent with the wines. We have bought 4 boxes. Compliments to the winemaker.

Great, cozy experience and definitely recommended! - Only natural raw materials in the wine! 🍷 Therefore a pure fine taste of the wine at the tasting. This after an excellent tour of Telma 💚 where I learned a lot about Gran Reserva, Reserva etc. Personal approach in a cozy beautiful setting. Restaurant with swimming pool available. All very nice. In addition, affordable. What more could you want! Highly recommended.

Best winery! - Amazing tour. Very good value. The tastings are basically a small wine size in the UK! We had 2 whites a rose and a red but the standard is 2 red one rose and one white. The bread and olive oil is amazing and we would have bought some if our case allowed! The food if you wanted to buy some is very reasonable. We got a meat and cheese board, olives, extra olive oil and a bottle of wine for €25! Bargain. If you wanted to buy a bottle of wine, prices start from €8. Also a barge. Tip. If you're nee to the app 'Bolt', download it and at the moment they are doing a promotion for your first 3 rides free. It therefore cost us €8 per ride. €16 there and back from Faro. Very convenient and we only waited one minute for a bolt there, and 10 minutes going back! All in all, a very good 4/5 hours out (drinking their lovely wine) and very reasonable with transport included! Considering I saw some wine tours on here at £60 EACH, this one one a lot more cost effective and was all in all a great afternoon pit on a rainy day.

Quinta da Tor, Loulé - Beautiful boutique family owned and run vineyard! Vera gave us a great welcome and very informative tour around the property to see how the wines are made! You can see she has such passion for the wines, wealth of knowledge, and very proud of what they have achieved! We went away knowing lots more about how the wines are made, and took away a bottle of our our favourite red, and lovely bottle of their olive oil! Now all we need is mamas bread recipe!😁

A must visit wine tour! - WOW!!! What an absolute fabulous wine tour. I've been on lots of wines tours and this one was the most informative, most fun, with some pretty,exceptional wines. The facilities are gorgeous and the staff are all incredible. We had Corina as our guide and she was amazing. Incredibly professional and warm. There were 12 of us and Cararina (owners daughter) couldn't have been more accommodating. She even arranged for 2 vans to pick us up as the Faro train station. All in all, "Best Day,Ever"!

Great experience - English tour was very good and we enjoyed the wine tasting! If you are looking for a wine tour with a nice staff and great wines then this is a good place! Everything is locally produced and environment friendly!
