See how it is naturally illuminated by two huge openings in the ceiling, inspiring the cave’s local name, Eyes of God Cave. Explore the entrances, including a 45-meter entrance, the largest in Bulgaria. The expected return in Sofia is at about 6pm.

En route to the initial cave, take some time to visit ‘The Blue Ostriches’ ostrich farm located in the Village of Brestnitsa, and gain more insight into the lives of Bulgarian ostriches.
The adventure continues at Prohodna cave, the current highlight amongst Bulgarian caves. Observe its natural lighting, thanks to two immense chasms in the ceiling — a feature that has earned it the local nickname, Eyes of God Cave. Investigate the entrances, particularly the 45-meter one, which is the largest in Bulgaria. Expect to arrive back in Sofia around 6pm.
