A tail of a Jersey whale - My husband and I went out on this tour with our friends on Nov. 2nd. This was the first time that we went whale watching in New Jersey. We saw dolphins, various birds and a whale. We frequently see dolphins while on the beach and have gone on many dolphin watching boat rides, but have never seen whales. When they spotted the whale they spent at least 45 minutes in the area so we could observe the whale and take pictures. The tour team, which included a naturalist, was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot and had a great time. Seeing a whale out in the ocean was thrilling. We are adding this experience to our must do list while at the shore.

Well worth it! - Well worth the time and money! Took the tour with my family, two in our party were older and require a cane to walk. The boat was easily accessible for them. The bathroom is small and requires a step over a ledge. The trip was amazing, we saw 3 whales and several dolphins and birds. The narrator was very knowledgeable and explained a lot about the wildlife. My husband who normally gets motion sickness was fine. We had a lot of fun on the tour even as adults. They have a small gift shop and beverages on board. I give it 5 whale tales up! Thank you!

Great ride to see magnificent mammals! - We thoroughly enjoyed this whale and dolphin watch. It was exciting to watch the whale as he stayed near for quite a while; we were thrilled!. The dolphins swam near our boat and, they, too were great to see. Wonderful trip!! Our naturalist on the ride was very knowledgeable of the sea animals; our captain knew how close to bring the boat so we could enjoy these mammal antics. Thank you so much!

Wonderful afternoon on the water - Great fun watching pods of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins & a loggerhead (I think) sea turtle. There were osprey chicks peaking out of a nest. No whales, but mother nature is capricious that way.

Excellent Experience! - The best whale watch out of Cape May, NJ. we took the 1:30 pm , three hour cruise. we were not disappointed. Although we didn't see a whale, there were plenty of bottle nosed dolphins, a lot of birds and even a leatherback sea turtle The naturalists on board were top notch. They were very informative and interacted with the patrons as well. We learned a lot about dolphins and whales that day as well as some of the research going on with the local cetacean population. Captains Matt and Melissa did an excellent job maneuvering the vessel so all could view the animals and still keep enough distance as to not disturb them. I highly recommend this adventure!

Meh 👎 - No whales, barely saw dolphins if you want to pay 50 pp for a dolphin education , go for it. The most activity was watching people barfing off the boat. True Lu a threeee hourrrr tour, a three hour tour.

Maybe shrink the word whale in their advertising - They do make you aware that you may not see a whale. I’m not sure whales are in the mid Atlantic at this time. Passengers ride.
