Seeking a blend of natural splendor and enchanting medieval vibes? This tour is designed for you! Krka Park is one of Croatia’s eight magnificent national parks. Delight in the exploration of waterfalls and lakes, as you traverse wooden pathways set amongst trees and travertine barriers. Immerse yourself in history by visiting age-old watermills, traditional crafts, and a blacksmith’s workshop, or take a refreshing dip in the water! Following some leisure time in the park, we head back to Šibenik.
This Gothic-Renaissance gem, nestled on the Adriatic coast, owes its splendour to the prosperous 15th and 16th-centuries when it was Dalmatia’s wealthiest and most influential city. Šibenik boasts a plethora of beautiful, ornately embellished medieval palaces tucked away in its old cobblestone alleys. The city’s standout feature is the remarkable St. James’s Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site since the year 2000.
- The walk in the park is aprox. 2 km. At one point there are about 100 steps down and 200 steps up. They are not steep but could be a problem for people with knee issue.
