Fun, calming experience that exceeded my expectations - The candle making class was fantastic. There was a very peaceful and serene atmosphere right from the beginning- the facilities are new and clean, with nice garden views and air conditioning to keep out the heat. Lee was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the whole process very clearly and was happy to spend time helping us get the mix of scents just right. I was impressed by how sophisticated the scent mixing and candle making process was, compared to other classes I have been to where there is limited guidance on how to do this correctly. Making the tea was a really fun addition, and it was nice that we got to mix up different types of tea to make our own flavour. I would recommend this class to groups and solo travellers alike.

A peaceful oasis - This was a real highlight of our trip to Luang Prabang. Mr Lee was the perfect host, informative, relaxed, funny and diplomatic in his scent responses. The air conditioning, peaceful music, very clean and serene environment made the perfect backdrop for such an enjoyable morning creating our own individual signature scent, and being guided through the science and art of candle making. As they set, we were shown how to wash, open and steep our own choice of tea blends. Mr Lee picked fresh flowers from the garden to adorn our plate - which was such a beautiful touch. I could not recommend this experience more highly 🙂💕💛

An amazing experience at Gai artisans candle making class - The tour was absolutely amazing, Lee was very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the scents and how to assemble the candle. He also helped us make our very own laotian tea which we enjoyed together with some biscuits. The vibes were immaculate and peaceful with air conditioning as well. Would highly recommend!

Loved it! - My friend and I absolutely loved the class. Our guide was super informative and very nice. The shop was so cute and quaint! We love the smell of our candles we made and loved how we could paint our boxes as well!

Fantastic unique experience for solo or groups! - This workshop was fantastic! The design and setup of everything is so well done, down to the finest details. Such a picturesque workshop. Lee who leads the workshop was amazing, we had a great chat while enjoying our local tea as the candles set. It was such a fun and unique experience - HIGHLY recommend! Also it is indoors with AC :)

Very lovely experience with a lovely scented candle to take home! - This was an absolutely amazing experience and I can only recommend it! My friend and I did the scent candle making workshop with Lee. He was so kind and explained every step in detail. When the candles were drying we got to make our own tea mixture and had lovely chats with him. If I could I would give this experience a 11/10.

Amazing Workshop! - The workshop was amazing! I had such a fun time creating the aroma candle! Gai was lovely and took the time explaining everything. She even held the workshop although it was just me. Would definitely recommend!

Fun and creative space to be - Gai Artisan Gallery is such a cozy, fun and creative space. I cannot choose the aroma oil scented as they all are very good choices. I can easily spent a day here making different kind of candles with different scents. Highly recommended either as a solo or group activity.
