A good overview to start the trip - You'd be lucky if you share the experience with Amy. Her English is very good. The extensive knowledge of the market covered a few things which might be packaged in other tours, i.e. cooking class. Amy can tell you how to use the ingredients selling in the wet market and where about the morning and night markets, and the morning ceremony are. So, it provides a very good overview of the area. After the tour, I was able to travel solo with the directions learnt from the tour. Apart from food, we also had tea ceremony at the tea house. I've probably had the majority of the Laos hotpot, as Amy kept assisting to serve me meats.

Wonderful Food Tour - The food tour was really really good. The Lao hotpot we were taken too was fantastic and we tried loads of interesting Lao foods at the two markets we went to. Ping and Vongphet were brilliant guides, so knowledgeable, helpful and spoke English very well. My friends and I had a lovely time.

A wonderful immersion evening - We had a great evening with Pa and Vongphet. They made us discover places outside tourists and traditional. This comes at a cost but if you are a heavy eater and drinker you will not be disappointed. Taste whatever you desire. The attendants were great!!

Fantastic food tour - One of the best food tours I have participated in. Both guides were really friendly and did not really stick to a script in terms of the food. Instead, apart from the planned stops we were encouraged to let them know if there are other dishes we want to try. Really insightful in terms of Lao cuisine and culture. Highly recommended if you are visiting Luang Prabang.

Taste of Luang Prabang - Although the tour wasn’t exactly as described, our guides, Tony and Ping, were great and very informative and we enjoyed trying different foods like buffalo brain, blood sausage, LP sausage and offal. We also got to try local whisky and tea. Would recommend this tour.

You have to go on this tour! - Amy is an amazing guide! So Many choices of things to try. I have never left a food tour this full!! Worth every penny for the food and the company. Amy gave us a cultural lesson about the Lao people. I’d give it more than 5 stars if possible.

A great night - Such a good night with a great guide, tonnes of food and new friends. We started off with hot pot but not like any of us knew it and we were already pretty full from just that. Then we moved to a local market for BBQ and anything else that took our fancy, like coconut icecreams. Our last stop was at the more touristy night markets for coconut pancakes and waffles, fruit snakes and spring rolls (and anything else we wanted to try... if we weren't so full). Our guide even helped speak with vendors when some people wanted to buy souvenirs.

An amazing way to experience Laos! Pha was great! - We had an amazing experience with Pha. He took us to a mix of different places — both the food scene where locals hung out in and to the Night Market. He even helped us shop for souvenirs around the night market. Pha really took the time to listen to our preferences and he was very responsive in terms of listening to our orders. Imagine that we had 8 people in the group! You can really tell that Pha loves what he is doing. He was very passionate and energetic in answering our random questions, which ranged from the impact of the pandemic in Laos to why he preferred to buy from certain food stalls. It was so easy to go around the different food spots because of the lovely Tuktuks. We also loved the hotpot beside the beautiful river.

Excellent - I was the only one on the tour which meant I had way toooo much food for 1 person. Mr Pha was excellent and kept me good company.

Ruined evening - After 15 minutes waiting I contact the provider.... Answer: oh I forgot to warn you that the whole thing is cancelled because you are the only participants. Good job! On a Saturday night in Luang Prabang, in high season, you can't find a free table in a restaurant. Very, very disappointed!
