• Lucca - Our expert driver will pick you up at your location (hotel or apartment) around 9.00 AM. Then we will drive to Lucca.
  First stop will be in this magical city where after a brief explanation of the most interesting things to see you will have two hours free for your walking tour.
  The most interesting things to visit are:
  • The Puccini Museum
  • The Cathedral of San Martino
  • The beautiful and ancient Walls
  • The Oval Square
  • The Guinigi Tower
  For lunch we will move to a typical Tuscan farm located in the countryside, where you will taste the best wines of our region with cold cuts, bruschetta and extra virgin olive oil and a delicious homemade pasta. the farm is managed directly by the family that deals with the production of wine and oil following the ancient methods. The pasta and bread are homemade and have a unique and incomparable flavor. It is not a simple lunch but a true experience of taste and flavors.
• Azienda Agricola Enzo Carmignani - For lunch we’ll move in a genuin tuscan farm. The Carmignani Farm, with the typical hospitality of a family-run business and a long standing history of wine written in the foundations (winemakers since 1386). Here you can find the right combination of a scrupulous tradition and modern technologies, therefore ancient and wonderful vines and wines produced by careful hands. The favourable locations favors the perfect exposure of the vineyards to sun rays, so as to allow the production of one of the best white wines of this D.O.C. area certainly appreciated by Bacchus. You will certainly be interested in the enological mystery and here the home sommelier, Elena, intervenes directly with a welcome toast.
• Funicolare - After lunch we will move to the funicular of Montecatini.

There is a magical historic railway line which takes you to the high village of the city on a little red train from bygone days, and this makes the whole experience truly unique. The trains meet at the halfway point and greet each other as though they are kissing, in the middle of the green hill, where it overlooks an evocative view of the whole of the Valdinievole, your gaze stretching infinitely over the land.

• Montecatini Alto - The funicular arrives and stops in the village of Monteatini Alto.

Montecatini Alto is the original Montecatini settlement, lying a few hundred metres above the ‘new’ town. Montecatini alto (high) is a characteristic medieval village, abounding in historical events culture and illustrious personages, is one of the most ancient inhabited centrs in the Valdinievole. From the village of Montecatini Alto, you can see the Nievole valley up to the city of Lucca, with a suggestive panorama.

• Lucca is a city rich in art and music, known as the birthplace of composer Giacomo Puccini. This charming city is a gem, encircled by its well-preserved ancient walls and featuring the renowned Oval Square. The Cathedral of Lucca and the Guinigi Tower are among Tuscany’s most significant landmarks.
• For lunch, we’ll head to a traditional Tuscan farm where you’ll enjoy the region’s best wines paired with cold cuts, bruschetta, extra virgin olive oil, and delicious homemade pasta.
• After lunch, we’ll proceed to Montecatini to ride the historic Italian Funicular (dating back to 1848), which offers a breathtaking journey to the town of Montecatini Alto. (Important note: The Funicular operates from one week before Easter until October 31st).
