- Funicolare - Post-lunch, the journey continues to the historic Montecatini Funicular, a magical railway offering a nostalgic trip back in time. This charming little red train, reminiscent of days gone by, ascends the hill to Montecatini Alto, the picturesque upper village of the city.
The experience is truly unique. As the trains ascend and descend, they meet at the midpoint in what feels like a friendly kiss amidst the lush greenery. After absorbing the beauty and history of Montecatini Alto, the return to your starting point is scheduled, with the journey concluding at 5:00 PM.

• Lucca is a city rich in art and music, known as the birthplace of composer Giacomo Puccini. This charming city is a gem, encircled by its well-preserved ancient walls and featuring the renowned Oval Square. The Cathedral of Lucca and the Guinigi Tower are among Tuscany’s most significant landmarks.
• For lunch, we’ll head to a traditional Tuscan farm where you’ll enjoy the region’s best wines paired with cold cuts, bruschetta, extra virgin olive oil, and delicious homemade pasta.
• After lunch, we’ll proceed to Montecatini to ride the historic Italian Funicular (dating back to 1848), which offers a breathtaking journey to the town of Montecatini Alto. (Important note: The Funicular operates from one week before Easter until October 31st).
