- CHUKKA Ocean Outpost at Sandy Bay - Rumble through the rugged countryside and as you gain confidence, pick up speed on your bike. Splash through puddles, speed past citrus plantations, roar up and down hills, and thrill as you bump along the twisting dirt trails.
Journey through the lush plains of the Blue Hole Estate, pass the beautiful community of Cascade in the parish of Hanover, and trundle by the farming village of Smithfield. Pause at one of the island’s oldest Presbyterian churches, built by slaves in 1840; and climb through forested slopes to a mountain viewpoint, at 2,200 feet (670m) above sea level, to admire the panoramic views.
Along the way, discover some of Jamaica’s native flora and fauna, and hear from your guide how some plants are used in the island’s beloved herbal remedies.
When the time comes, return to the safari ranch. Leave your ATV and perhaps revive your energies with a meal or drinks (both at own expense) at the ranch bar and grill.

Amazing ATV experience! - Super grateful for my ATV guide, Ralph!
It was my first time on an ATV and he was extremely kind, patient and encouraging! Loved his energy and the experience as a whole. The route we took was very nice with beautiful views of the ocean. I felt safe and attended to.

Awesomeeee - Had a blasttt!! Very patient team and they stopped midway to make sure everyone got to take pictures. Passed a lot of greenery and Jamaica’s blue seas.

Highly Recommended! Fun and Worth it! - Highly recommended! This excurison was so much fun! We had a group of 8 celebrating the bride-to-be. Shawn, Jimmy and Benny gave us a great safety lesson and led us on an amazing adventure! They definitely made this excurison memorable for all of us. And shoutout to Shanice at the front desk for helping us get checked in. Booking with Viator was easy and secure. I even had to update the number of guests a few times and that was easy also. Book this tour and ask for Shawn, Jimmy and Benny to be your guides....tell them Jasmine's Bridal party sent ya!

Great time on ATVs - Our guide was Jimmy and he was awesome! We did 4 different activities and I personally enjoyed this one the most. It appeared the guides separated us by skill level after seeing how you handled the ATV. Once they found your skill level they moved us into smaller groups and had a blast. I would do it again for sure.

Sandy bay ATVs - Enjoyed the Atv Experience led by Jimmy Allen and Andre. Jimmy was great teacher, thorough details, very funny but serious, and made us feel safe the whole way through.

Adventure and thrill - We had a great time. We had a large group on the atv safari and we wanted to go a little faster and the guide let us take a detour with another guide so that we could get to go a little faster and have a personalized time. The guys keep you safe and give you time to take pics. I would definitely recommend trying out this tour. I would say get there before lunch that way you can enjoy the pool a bit and have lunch.

Aggressive but Fun - Group#6 was the last group and the guide was aggressive and short on patience. The driver that escorted us back to the hotel was clearly was also the same. The excursion other than that was a BLAST with the mud!! I very much enjoyed that part. Tips, are they mandatory or are they a expected requirement? How about charging gurtuity for the guides so we don't have to hear the passive request for tips.

Wasted our entire day - We arrived at 1:30pm for our 2:00pm ATV ride. We waited until 4:00pm with no update on when it was time to ride. Once we asked The staff suggested we request a refund from Viator instead because they’re running late and they close at 5:00 so we wouldn’t be able to be serviced anyway.
In addition, we had to wait another hour for a ride back to our hotel. This wasted an entire day of my honeymoon, we never rode the ATVs and still have to wait for a potential refund from Viator.

There’s other tour vendors, Chukka is NOT worth it - My friends and I booked with a rep in our hotel for two excursions and had our ticket ready to go. After making it to their location, there was a long line to “register” for your excursion… we waiting an hour and 30 minutes, just to get to the counter to be weighed on their scale.
(And yes I said that right, they have scales to weigh you before continuing. Might have been beneficial to do before you take someone’s money. )
I will also say they went around and “registered” some of the people randomly. Once we got to the front, someone in our tour was a little o we the limit and they denied them one of the excursions. No big deal but they refused to partial refund them for the portion they were not able to do. We then had to run to our excursion and had no time to enjoy the amenities at the location. It doesn’t make sense to offer amenities but not give people a chance to actually use them. I won’t even mention the staff as that is a whole different review. Let’s just say it’s not a place you want to go to enjoy your time off the resort. Just choose another company because they were trash!
