If you prefer to discover another cogwheel train and route, you can also hop on the train to Goldau. Another accessing point to Mt. Rigi is Weggis, where a cable car brings you up to Rigi Kaltbad, from where you can continue by cogwheel train up to Rigi Kulm. Your ticket provides unlimited rides on the three transportation services for the whole day and you are able to choose your route according to your wishes.

- Note that this tour is self-guided
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately

- Beware of the closing times of the cable car by visiting rigi.ch prior to your travel. Use Vitznau train line instead (no refund due to this!)

Amazing day trip and spa part was so worth it! It felt so good to be in the mineral baths and sauna after a long hike. - Although self guided was fairly easy to navigate. The boat had wonderful, friendly employees. The views were magnificent. You should probably wear sneakers. The spa was absolutely stunning and amazing. Highly recommend this day trip

Mount Rigi - Massage was absolutely amazing. Tha SPA is spotless and the variety of amenities are endless. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Magnificent Mt. Rigi tour - This tour was perfect for us as you are able to tailor it to your preference for timeline. The boat ride to Vitznau was comfortable and relaxing with beautiful scenery along the way. Food and beverages available for purchase onboard. The cogwheel train ride also comfortable and scenery was beautiful. Breathtaking views a top of Mt. Rigi. The icing on the cake was the Mineral Spa Kaltbad. A perfect way to unwind indoors or outdoors with a panoramic view of the Alps. Beverages and snacks available for purchase. If you didn’t pack your swimsuit, they do have available for rental. This spa was so amazing it was hard to leave! We had plenty of time to explore Lucerne before and after the tour on this day trip from Zurich.

Amazing - Such a unique and relaxing experience after a lot of traveling. The mineral baths are amazing! I highly recommend doing this for an afternoon. We went on a rainy day which was perfect because everything is inside and you can swim thru to the outside pool area which has incredible views. You can rent towels, robes and even swim suits if needed and have wine and Prosecco along with light snacks. In all it was a perfect day! GO!!

Amazing Mt Rigi day - We had an amazing day on Mt Rigi. I highly recommend! We took the ferry from Lucerne to Weggis (not included) then took the cable car halfway up the mountain and hiked to the peak from there. Such gorgeous views while hiking up and at the top. We grabbed a drink at the restaurant at the top of Mt Rigi and took in the beauty of it all. We then took the train down to the spa which was such a relaxing, wonderful experience.

Awesome - An amazing trip up the mountain followed by a relaxing time at the spa. The views were above the clouds with mountain peaks in all directions. Breathtaking!

Highly recommend! - Highly recommend for anybody staying in the Lucerne region. The mineral bath and spa were amazing, the view breathtaking, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I took my wife here during our honeymoon and we added a massage and It was definitely worth it! Not to mention the amazing views of mount Rigi!

Not worth it. - Not worth it unless you are certain that it will be sunny and not foggy. We went on a foggy day and could not see 1 meter in front of us. So we didn’t see any of the wonderful views. They don’t issue a refund less than 24hr in advance and the weather can change in a couple of hours here.
