Could be the most beautiful views on Earth - The views are so beautiful that we found them almost overwhelming. We bought all of our tickets at the main train station in Luzern (upstairs from the main concourse, open 07:00-21:00). The person spoke English and was very helpful in getting us the best deal- in our case we used our passports to buy a month’s half price travel fares (120 CHF each), which included an under 16 free travel family card. We got the boat from the Lido in Luzern to Weggis, the cable car from here to Rigi Kaltbad-First, then the cog wheel to the top (Rigi Kulm). After trying to take in the 360 degree views, we walked from the top to Rigi Staffel, from Rigi Staffel to Rotstock, then Rigi First, then around the Felsenweg (lake side of the mountain), then to Rigi Scheidegg. Total walk 5.5 miles, took our family 2 hours. From here we got the cable car to Kräbel, then waited 45 minutes for the next train back to Staffel. Then the train down to Rigi Kaltbad First and from there back to Weggis, the ferry and home. The website lists all of the train times - we could have avoided the 45 min wait if we’d walked faster as a family. All of this was covered by the day passes that we bought and the separate ferry ticket. We took a packed lunch for the day, snacks and water- there was only 1 place to refill the water bottles- beware! (on the ascent up to Rigi Scheidegg on the non lake side). So glad we did the trip- was unbelievably beautiful.

Memorable Hike - Amazing views and a vigorous hike from Rigi First to the top. Great experience. My wife and I enjoyed the trip. First a wonderful boat ride from Lucerne then the cable car yo the mountain followed by a hike..what a day!

one of the most beautiful lookouts in Europe - one of the most beautiful views in Europe. Very easy to access with the funicular. We rush there as if to go up to the Eiffel Tower. The only downside: the absence of an orientation table at the summit, which is a clear disadvantage, the summits of eastern Switzerland not being as well known as those in the west.

Easy to use and amazing views! - This pass was really easy to use, it gave us access to all of the transport options on Mt Rigi. Although it seems expensive at first, we found that arranging the transport separately was more expensive and the price is well worth it for the views you get at the top. Highly recommend!

Mount Rigi is worth the trip! - Mount Rigi was beautiful and the train ride up was spectacular! It was a little cloudy that day so our views were somewhat obstructed, but it was still stunning and a wonderful half day trip I would highly recommend.

Go above the clouds! - A magical day above the clouds. We start the train ride in the fog and suddenly the blue sky, the sun and the sparkling snow The course is very well organized and easy and in good conditions

Best unforgettable experience - Best experience ever. Unforgettable experience for my whole family. We never expected to see too much snow on top of Mt Rigi but we were very lucky to have seen it, felt it and enjoyed it.

No respect for turists - Awful experience. It is a shame that a place so beautiful is so bad well kept. People on the train and the lift have no respect for the others. Also the waiting time to go up is insanely high and the lift stays stuck at the platform for at least 20 minutes at a time.

Very Unsatisfied - There were NO proper QR code not any info to validate my trip as each time we were checked with the QR Code sent, it did not work. Also the location to start the trip was NOT clear at all. It was not a pleasant experience from the Boat ride to the Cogwheel ride to the Cable car down to the Boat ride back to Lucerne. Should be refunded
