- Pilatus Luzern - In Lucerne, your driver will escort you to the Pilatus Bahn and begin your ascent to Mt. Pilatus. We’ll make a little stop at Fraukmuntegg, where you will admire the beginning of the Swiss Alps and the cantons that formed the Swiss Confederation in 1291. Then, you will board the iconic “dragon ride” aerial cable car, where we will float in a giant glass cabin. - Pilatus Luzern - We begin our descent of the world’s steepest cogwheel, which will head to Alpnachstad; take the cogwheel train, where the engine will climb the foothills of Pilatus, taking you to the end of the steepest rack railway in the world. Admire the views over the Alps from 2,073 meters high as your guide reveals each area’s history, culture, and culinary delights.

An awesome experience! - I had the pleasure of experiencing a private tour to Mt Pilatus wth Lake Lucerne last year, guided by the reliable Jonas. Punctual as always, he picked me up from my hotel in Lucerne and led us through a scenic journey via train and gondola to reach Mt Pilatus. Jonas showcased several breathtaking viewpoints, enriching my appreciation of the majestic surroundings.
The tour concluded with a tranquil cruise on Lake Lucerne, offering a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Jonas's expertise and companionship once again made the experience memorable. This being my second mountain tour with him, I continue to appreciate the wealth of knowledge he imparts, enhancing the enjoyment of each excursion. I am grateful for another unforgettable tour guided by Jonas.

Wonderful private tour of Lake Lucerne and Mt Pilatus - Jonas did a fantastic job from the moment he met us in our hotel lobby until we returned 5+ hours later. He was a wealth of knowledge on the local area and customs. He was very polite and a pure pleasure to be with our family for a full day tour. Very professional and knew exactly how much information we could (and wanted) to absorb along the way.

Make sure to do this. - We loved Lucerne and I would make sure to spend a day there. But if you can manage a second day, this trip is very worthwhile. Gorgeous scenic views, relaxing. Beer at the top is nice too.

stressful and unpleasant experience - the guide informed us 1 hour before we were supposed to meet that they had covid and had to cancel - we had to scramble to try to make something of our day in Lucerne - no back up was provided because the company said they were too small - ridiculous!
