Awesome experience, avoid the overpriced cafe with rude woman server. - Amazing experience, the views were just incredible. We went up on the cogwheel train which was awesome, sit on the left. We went back down on the cable car. The only negative was a very rude woman serving in the cafe, the cog wheel.staff were lovely but she was awful.

Romantic decadence! - Absolutely decadent! This is an outstanding facility for complete relaxation and pampering. We indulged in a 75min couples massage while we were there and it was divine. The views, the sauna, the pools = unforgettable romance. Definitely do it! It was pricey, but book direct so you don't pay for things you don't use.

Fun Experience - This was a very fun experience! Getting to the Mineral Baths was a little bit confusing. If you are coming from the Arth-Goldau train station, you have to take the cogwheel train up and then switch trains, and get off at the Kaltbad stop. When you go to the spa, you do have to pay to rent towels. Our experience at the spa was great, you get to swim around in the mineral baths both inside and outside, go into the steam room, the mineral pool, etc. As a word of warning, if you want to go into the sauna, you HAVE to be completely naked and it is co-ed (both men and women) - you cannot go in with any clothes on! Overall this was a good experience, but I would recommend planning this day out ahead of time and getting an early start, as the transportation time to get to the base train stations and then to the spa can take a few hours total.

Experience - I loved the views of this place. One of my suggestions would be the front staff if they have time to give you a short tour of the place feel a little more personal when you arrive She gives you a lot of information at once and we had to find a lot of it on our own Also I wished they offered cold water where the pool area is as we had to find on our own where we could get something to drink as there was no one to be found once we were in the pool area But it is a lovely place I did not see on their web site were we could book a massage and maybe I missed it But when we arrived they had only a couple of times that unfortunetly didnt fit our schedule. So book ahead if you can. Otherwise we loved the place and get place to relax.

Exploration day - spa, walk, snowy mountains, views - The spa is wonderful. Beautiful views from the outdoor pool of the snowy mountains. Note, the viewing ledge is quite short so people need to rotate and let others have some time at the viewing ledge. The spa consists of a large indoor pool with various zones of different types of jet sprays. There is the outdoor pool with further jets. Downstairs is the crystal bath - a shallow warm pool - but it can get noisy due to the sound design. There is also a steam room; a warm room with beds looking out onto the mountains; a relaxation room with free tea and water; a sauna; and the treatment rooms. The day pass gives you access to the cogwheel train and cable car. But we actually did not use the day pass. Instead, we bought a SAVER DAY PASS in advance and paid for the spa ticket on the door. This worked out to be cheaper for us, as the day pass included all transport in Switzerland for 24hours - so we managed to include the train from Zurich, the trams in Zurich, the Mt Rigi transport and boat ride. Our route from Zurich was to take the mainline train to Arth Goldau; cogwheel train from Arth Goldau up to the summit, then walk down to the spa, with a stop off at Resturant no 7 which has great views; continue to the spa for 3 hours; then took the penultimate cable car back down to Weggis. We took a boat from weggis to Lucerne where we spent a lovely evening exploring Christmas markets and the old wooden bridge. Took the train back to Zurich after. Recommend:- check the train times as the cogwheel train/cable car from each stop only runs about once an hour so you need to plan ahead so you have enough time.
