Switzerland to see - Really wonderful! We had a very beautiful time on the trains and especially on the aviation side... An experience not to be missed is the planetarium!

A very great day - we will be back - The children as well as adults had a lot of fun and were in the transport house all day from 10 am to 5 pm. There is much to try and discover inside as well as outside. Very friendly staff.

Great musuem - While expensive, this museum is fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the large exhibits on aircraft, ships, and railroads. There was also a neat section on logistics. This museum appears to have made a big effort to appeal to multiple age groups, including a transportation-themed playground in the middle of the museum. The cafeteria and cafe were both nice too.

A great visit - This is our third visit to this museum. It’s a great place where we can easily spend the whole day with our children. We’ve previously been in warmer months and spent a lot of our time outside in the play areas but as it was colder we decided to spend more time indoors this time round. There’s plenty of chances for the children to be hands on with exhibits and we found plenty of boards translated into English. We also included the Lindt experience which is both informative and enjoyable so that the children actually listened to what was being said. They particularly liked the chocolate at the end! There’s a fairly good cafe on site for lunch and the bus and train stops directly outside so easy to get to from central Lucerne if you didn’t fancy the walk. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

Noticeable decline - a pity. - Meanwhile, the traffic hall, the highlight of my childhood, is unfortunately quite run down. While the Fliegerei-Haus remained standing at the level of 10 years ago (let's say "preserved"), the new part shows "energy" how it cannot be done. The climate moral index finger is above everything and instead of informing about the dynamic development of electromobility, you put a Microlino, a symbol of what you do not want, skillfully concealing that it has an astonishingly large consumption. Also interesting is the graph of energy consumption in Switzerland, which ends in 2012. Since then, energy consumption has fallen, but this probably does not fit the morale finger. Overall, the quality of the transport house seems to be inversely proportional to the entrance fees, which are only suitable for families thanks to Raiffeisen.

Verkehrshaus is for children - Museum for children! Entrance fee is far too high for what it is even by Swiss standards! We actually wanted to go to the planetarium, but there were also only performances suitable for children, or we could wait 4 hours until the next adult performance. Eventually I bought tickets for the museum for €38 per person...! After an hour we were done (with it). Museum is nice for children. There are plenty of them! The stuff on display comes across as messy and outdated. We could not recognize a logical sequence or a continuous story. Also, many objects are very close together making it look crammed and cluttered. You better spend €38 on something else, we came home from a cold carnival, so be warned...!

Children's Museum - Entrance fee €35 p.p. is really way too expensive for what it is! The museum is especially fun for children. They are et therefore in excess... Actually we wanted to go to the planetarium, but unfortunately this was only suitable for children...! We were done after an hour (with it)

Museum experience of the 50s! - - Very cold reception at checkouts: I speak in English and systematic answer of the teller in German without a smile. I repeat in English that I do not understand and this on 2 occasions: answer always in German then finally switch to English. Seems annoyed because I feel confused and unaccustomed to the Reservation Platforms on which I paid for tickets. Let me wade in while I show my natel for help. Eventually help me! Feeling very uncomfortable. Planetarium in German without being informed of translation possibilities. -A person, friendly by the way, (volunteer?) comes to lecture us for many minutes "on the fact that we do not speak German but that at least she can speak French, on the need to learn the other languages, on the situation of women several years ago, on countries of the world where women are not considered as in Switzerland especially when religious conditions interfere with it"! New Impression of growing discomfort because it seems that the main message, which was not explicitly said, must have been not to lift the shutter of a display table, which was broken and therefore open. Mea Culpa. - Aviation area seems very old with no mention of current climatic or environmental issues. Without proselytizing ecologically, it seems to me that the current awareness of the concepts of sustainability no longer corresponds to that of the 1950s. In summary, Best Value for Award out of reality, taking into account: - the lack of professionalism in the field of international tourist reception (International may not be the philosophy of the museum. It would then be wise to announce it very clearly) - the age of the installations and the comments

What a big disappointment! The Transport Museum's Swan Song? - You sometimes transfigure a lot of what was in childhood. So are the visits to the traffic house. When we went to the transport house with friends this January, we all became very disappointed and disillusioned. It began at the ticket office, where an admission fee of 35 francs was payable. Not too much if the centerpiece of the exhibition, train and rail, had not been closed. What? That is why we went from Basel to Lucerne. A transport house without trains and without model railway is not worth a visit. The tickets were therefore not offered cheaper. What unacceptable behavior. The disappointment continued. We're in the traffic hall, right? At least we didn't understand what a Hans Erni Museum, the Schoggi adventure and other exhibitions (Oris-Watch, for example) were going to do in the Transport House? Omega as part of the moon landing would have been somehow understandable. The question also remains what sense a chaotic car show should make, which is a core part of Monteverdi's, but otherwise there are randomly and almost indiscriminately displayed nice or less nice cars, which make no sense in this compilation. Parts of the exhibition make an almost bleak impression and outdoors, the ravages of time gnaw at an accelerated pace in many places. We are saddened - and will not come back.

Disappointing visit - Disappointing visit for several reasons. Staff not friendly and deaf to our questions. Half the attractions are closed, when they are not, you have to buy a ticket, Planetarium closed without notifying anyone. In short, it has become a money pump that is seriously aging and clearly missing the train compared to the competition. Wake up, man!
