Great day trip - Good visit to Interlaken along with a great stop in Grindelwald! Very helpful and informative guides really enhanced this experience, including the ride up to the First for a great view and lunch

Awesome - book it! - Yes, this is a partially guided tour as stated BUT well worth it. The drive from Zurich to Lucerne and then Grindawald was fabulous and our guide Sophia was amazing.
Francesco our driver was great and Roberto who helped Sophia was also a wonderful guide.
The add on of Mt First and the Mountain Carts was a bucket list item ticked off. A wonderful day in Switzerland.

Indescribable experience - We loved our day trip to Grindelwald. Pick up in Lucerne was convenient. We stopped at Interlaken for about an hour before continuing to Grindelwald. We were able to buy cable car tickets on the bus and we're dropped at the entrance. A train ticket back to Interlaken was given to us so we were able to choose how long we spent in each place. It was absolutely an indescribable experience. The only issue was that the bus driver was not great at anticipating traffic. He slammed on the breaks repeatedly which was rather startling.

Strange - This was an unsatisfying tour. We departed from Lucerne to Interlachen but stayed for only an hour, too little time to do anything but with no guiding or explanation. We then went to Grindelwald where we had hours and hours, but that time would only be needed if you were doing paragliding or some kind of similar activity (which we weren’t and didn’t know about in advance anyway). There’s otherwise not enough in the village to justify that amount of time, and again no guiding at all. We then had to return to Interlachen by train on our own, this time for an hours-long stay (and no guiding). So you stroll the tourist shops and umpteen watch stores, and maybe get a drink. Both villages were lovely and we were glad to visit and see them, and the scenery along the way was breathtaking. But the structure of the tour didn’t make sense at all. (Plus the bus driver, while skilled at his job, was a total sourpuss.)

Good - The trip was beautiful. The pick up point could have had some more details. For us seniors that are not attached to the cell phone. You could say in front of the —— Hotel. In back of Mc Donald’s.

Disjointed tour - The meeting point was easy to find and we were picked up on-time. There was no guide to meet us. We did not know that we were part of a tour that started in Zurich.
We were told about many options for the day while on the bus and given a written brochure about some of them. The brochure was inadequate because it didn't give duration times for planning. We had to ask the tour guide. Also the initial tour write up didn't explain about all the options for the day.
The day was broken up by a short stop in Interlaken and then taken to Grindlewald. We then were given train tickets to take a train back to Interlaken at the end of the day to catch the bus back to Lucerne. So, it seemed very disjointed.
Overall not very impressed. We made the best of what we could.

Don’t bother going on... - Don’t bother going on this tour. They gave out incorrect information about pick up and drop off locations, then refused to give a partial refund. Just catch the train to Interlaken and Grindelwald and save your money.
