Want to experience Lucerne like a local?

Join us in a beautiful Walking Tour as we visit world-famous sights such as the Chapel Bridge with the Water Tower. Enjoy gorgeous views along the walk of the river and lake Lucerne. On the tour you will learn important and humorous facts about the history of Lucerne and the everyday life of its residents. You will discover hidden alleys, visit town squares and even catch a glimpse of the city’s “crown, “ the old city wall. A visit to the Lion monument is also included!

As an optional Tour Extension you can either visit the Glacier Garden in a self guided tour or the Swiss Chocolate Adventure at the Transport Museum with an audio guide in several languages and a basic chocolate tasting. Your guide will provide all info and tickets for the tour extension. We begin with the walking tour and afterwards the tour extension chocolate or Glacier museum.

Nice tour of city - Isabella was great. Very kind, knowledgeable and did not rush us. Went a nice pace. I thought I was going to see exactly what I had seen on my own the day before but actually saw new things throughout the tour that w would have not done on my own.

In-depth tour of the historical old town - Luis was an excellent tour guide. We saw parts of the old town that we would never had discovered on our own. He gave us a historical perspective of the wall towers and buildings. He also pointed out cafes and restaurants that were worth visiting. A highlight was the chapel bridge and the Lion monument.

Book now, you won’t regret! - Luís our tour guide was excellent! Great communication ahead of time and punctual. He has a warm personality and made everyone feel welcome. His love for the city is evident! He shared a lot of the history with pictures on his iPad to provide greater context of historical events. Our group was small with a mix of ages, including children. Luís even provided recommendations for things to do after the tour for both adults and kids. He was very happy to take pictures for us and answered all our questions about the city. One of the best parts of the tour was getting out of the tourist areas and seeing the more scenic and quieter surrounding areas, that most visitors would never know about or venture to explore.

Great introduction to Lucerne - This was a very enjoyable tour. Laslov was interesting, pleasant and entertaining. It was a great introduction to Lucerne and gave us lots of recommendations of places to eat and drink as well as suggested things to do while in Lucerne.

Old Charm and Fascinating history on a lovely Walk! - Great intro to Lucerne. We learned so much of the history mixed in with seeing all the highlights of the old city. It was a lovely walk and our guide, Isablella, knew so much about the area. She was delightful! I’d heartily recommend this walking tour!
