Take part in a 4-hour intimate group walking tour exploring the splendid sights around Lake Lucerne. Venture past ancient timber chalets, luxurious villas and historic fortresses, unraveling intriguing stories about their notable inhabitants. The residence of Habsburg monarchs, Russian financial moguls, an unconventional heiress, German royals, French textile tycoons and American oil magnates, Lake Lucerne has been home to many.
Your journey begins and concludes at the Lucerne train station, included in the cost of the ticket. The tour will include a break where you can purchase food and drinks at your own cost.
- Approx. 2 hours of easy walking is included, with most of the route on flat ground; comfortable walking shoes are recommended

Couldn’t be any prettier! - We did a private walking tour around the lake and were able to see how much beauty there is without a lot of people around. Would recommend it highly! Ezra was an amazing guide and went above and beyond for us and answered all of our questions.

Great tour, great guide - Our guide, Eve, was EXCELLENT!!! She lives in the area so she was very knowledgeable. She was very personable and friendly. We had great views of the alps as well as picturesque villas. She shared many stories about the homes and residents.

Eve H. was our guide and she was... - <p>Eve H. was our guide and she was totally knowledgeable. The views and houses were beautiful. There are hills when walking! At end of tour we went to a wonderful lookout point (we would of never knew of this place) and she made us hot chocolate and had Swiss treats. Highly recommend.</p>

I absolutely loved this tour. Our... - <p>I absolutely loved this tour. Our tour guide was terrific. We learned so much about the villas and history of Lucerne. I highly recommend this tour to others. This was a lot of walking but totally worth it. The pictures you are able to get are breathtaking. As a tourist you would not know about this path you take but as a local you do. Being able to take in the views and experience the town as a local was amazing.</p>

Great experience. This is a private... - <p>Great experience. This is a private tour and the guides are very knowledgeable and flexible to suit your timing. It was fabulous to get out of the city a bit. Great views. Well worth it. We walked 2-3 miles total and my 14 was very content!</p>

Walking tour of outside only of homes - The guides were great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I think the tour was to expensive for what you get.

Castles and Villas tour - Not worth the cost. It was a walk. Castle was closed. Couldn’t see many villas because they are behind the fences with thick vegetation. The walk was nice though.
