loved our guide, this is a full day - The highlight of our time in Switzerland. Our guide, Dominique, was super fun and extremely knowledgable. She knew the answer to every question we asked and we really enjoyed our time with her. Although it's possible and pretty easy to do the trip without a guide, I would really recommend booking a guide. It removes all of the stress and allows you to learn a lot more about Switzerland than you would without one. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone that has a free day in Switzerland!

The day trip was amazing - The day trip was amazing with spectacular views. Our tour guide, Anja, was really helpful all day. Arrived on time. Offered her local knowledge of the trip throughout the day. Made sure we got all the right connecting boats, trains and cablecars. We got much more out of the day because of her service. The guide was informative - The guide was informative and helpful. The train was stunning and the proposed lunch was good. The only disappointing thing was the lack of snow in mid-December, not something Viator could control. Even without snow, the scenery, including distant glaciers, was great.

This tour was magnificent. - This tour was magnificent. Our guide was so knowledgable, funny, and personable! We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him! By far the BEST way to see Lucerne area especially if you only have a short time in the city. It is well worth the money and I would highly recommend this tour.

no rush, no crowd and lovely tour - easy to find meeting place, we have been in a really small group (6 people) which gave a personal touch on that day. it was variable (boat, train, small walk, cable car) during the day and I got ennough time for myself on this tour. no rush at all what I loved.

scenic views on a good pace - nice pace on the tour, spend lunch at a restaurant not on the peak - but food was delicous! Got nice views and a lot of information from our lovely tour guide. Never felt rushed and the group was just 6 people.

lovely views and great day - loved the lake cruise and the train to the top. As the weather was good, tourguide was leading us on a 30 minutes walk after lunch along a wide trail with stunning views onto the lake and the city of Lucern. It was a great day and we discussed a lot of things, that I never heard about Switzerland before.
